Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left seriously distracted by Stephen Mulhern’s “bulge” during the opening show.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s famed Saturday ITV show has returned for eight episodes over the next two months.
Their longtime friend and collaborator Stephen has returned for another series, hosting a round of games for Ant and Dec to battle out between them.
This series, Stephen claimed he was “going for gold,” and appeared on the stage covered entirely in metallic body paint.
Completing the golden theme, he worked a matching pair of short-shorts and a tank top, catching the light in the metal-coloured outfit.

However, the shorts – which were tight and cropped to the tops of his thighs – gave fans an eyeful.
One Twitter user wrote: “Omg Stephen is so funny how he isn’t afraid to send himself up.. That bulge.”

“Stephens bulge that’s all I’m going to say,” added a third.

One tweeted: “Stephen Mulhern’s buldge on #SaturdayNightTakeaway should come with a WARNING,” followed by a laughing emoji.
“This entire hashtag is now just stephen mulhern’s gold budge and i want to cry #SaturdayNightTakeaway,” wrote another.
“I can’t believe Twitter is thirsty over Stephen and his David Bowie Bulge #SaturdayNightTakeaway,” said another.

The show first broadcast on ITV on June 8, 2002 and has become one of TV’s most popular variety shows.
Before the new series launched, Stephen took to Twitter to urge fans to tune in, saying: “I just can’t wait for Saturday! It’s going to be Unbelievable!!! Also @Catchphrase is on before @itvtakeaway! So it’s a double whammy thank you Mammy.
“See you then #SaturdayNightTakeaway.”
