Corrie's Mollie Gallagher looks totally different as she unveils hair transformation

Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher decided to switch up her look with a radical hair change.

The soap star, who is better known from her role on the cobbles as Nina Lucas, looked almost unrecognisable as she debuted her new locks.

Showing off her two-toned hair, the 23-year-old left her loyal legion of fans stunned as she appeared to look totally different.

In one snap, she looked ready for the cold weather ahead as she posed in a casual wool knit jumper while unveiling platinum coloured roots with raven ends.

After receiving astonishing feedback, the ITV star reappeared again in quilted jacket with her hair groomed into a half-up and half-down style.

Fans couldn’t get enough as they flocked beneath both posts to rave about her newly coloured tresses.

One asked: “New hair for Nina as well then? I love it btw!”

A second penned: “OMG the hair I’m shook.”

While a third wrote: “Stunning as always your hair looks amazing.”

Meanwhile, last month Mollie opened out about struggling to overcome her character Nina’s harrowing murder scenes.

Last month, the star revealed she struggled to switch off from her character Nina’s emotional murder scenes.

In the emotional scenes, Nina and her boyfriend Seb Franklin were set upon by Corey Brent and his gang as well as Kelly Neelan as part of the hate crime attack – reminiscent of the real world attack on Sophie Lancaster in 2007.

Speaking about her struggles to overcome the acting trauma she told The Sun’s TV Mag: “The ones I found hardest in general were the ones where I had never had to be that emotional before.

“Some of those were in the hospital when Nina got out of the bed. It was after Seb had died and Abi has a go at her for not being able to remember what happened.

“So I was thinking about Nina being in all this physical pain and trying to keep very still. Probably for me that was the trickiest, learning how to reach those different emotional points.”

Mollie explained that she’d been lucky to have her boyfriend during the lockdown period as support as she may have found it even tougher to get through.
