Louise Minchin vows to keep modesty in I'm A Celeb shower and won't be wearing bikini

Ex-BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin has vowed to keep her modesty in the I’m A Celebrity shower.

She has packed swimsuits rather than bikinis for the ITV show.

Louise explained: “I’ve prepared for the shower. I will be wearing a swimming costume.

“I haven’t got a bikini, so I won’t be wearing a bikini in the shower.

“That’s how I’ve managed to get around that one.

“And hopefully I won’t be revealing more of myself than I’m mean to.

“But I’m going to look completely different to how viewers normally see me – completely makeup free and all the rest of it and in the castle clothes.”

Louise, 53, hopes she doesn’t say anything embarrassing if she forgets she has a microphone on.

She added: “On BBC Breakfast, I know when the mics are not on and I know when the cameras are off, but I think at first I will try to remember there are cameras around me and microphones around me all the time, but I’m sure very soon, I’m going to forget that.

“And I think I’ve just got to trust that hopefully I just be myself.”

Although the mum-of-two is frightened of spiders, bugs and eating animal testicles in Bushtucker Trials, she actually thinks hosts Ant and Dec make things worse by laughing during the challenges.

She explained: “I try not to listen to Ant and Dec because all I know is that they just try and wind you up and make it worse.”

Louise spoke of her worries about becoming a contestant on I’m A Celebrity this weekend in her final video message before entering the show.
