Paddy McGuinness almost burnt down home with secret porn magazine collection

Paddy McGuinness almost burnt his house down because of a secret stash of petrol-soaked porn mags.

The Top Gear host, who is married to wife Christine, said he found a bunch of top shelf titles when he was a teen and hid them in the airing cupboard at home.

He said: “Someone was obviously about to burn them and got disturbed and just left them there.

“How the hell am I going to get these dry? I know, I’ll put them in the airing cupboard, on top of the red-hot water tank, that’ll dry them out in no time. Genius!”

But Paddy’s plan back-fired when the smell of petrol filled his family home.

He added: “The mags were a whisker away from setting the house on fire.

“My mum’s eyes were streaming and bloodshot. ‘Patrick, what’s that smell coming from your bedroom?’

“I couldn’t say, ‘Relax, Mum, it’s just those petrol-soaked Razzles I put in the airing cupboard to dry out.’”

It’s not Paddy’s first naughty confession of late, as he recently revealed a former boss banned him from using company cars as he was caught having sex in them.

The incident, which happened before the comedian found fame, saw his manager find him at an infamous sex spot in Bolton with his trouser by his ankles in a company-owned Vauxhall Astra.

Paddy said: “We had the seats back, mid-bonk, when the area manager drove past us. I got into a bit of trouble for that.

“I was off driving duties for a while.”
