Holly Willoughby waves goodbye to ITV show and says 'I love you' leaving fans devastated

TV legend Holly Willoughby has penned an emotional goodbye message to a popular ITV show – and fans have been left devastated.

The This Morning host took to Instagram on Monday (November 29) to say her goodbyes to ITV2’s Celebrity Juice.

Holly, who was one of the original team captains on the show from 2008 to 2020, will star in the last ever episode, set to premiere next month.

The 41-year-old will appear alongside host Keith Lemon and OG star and pal Fearne Cotton.

In a post shared to her 8.1 million followers, Holly looked sensational as she rocked a Beetlejuice-inspired blue and black pinstriped suit.

Paying tribute to the show, she wrote in the caption: “With a heavy heart it’s time to say goodbye and thank you to @celebjuiceofficial.

“The final farewell outfit and it’s a nod to the legend that is @keithlemon … oosh… love you.”

Fans flooded the comment section with an array of heartfelt messages.

“Sad to see you go… can’t imagine celebrity juice without you!! ” One fan gushed.

Another penned: “They say all good things must come to an end but whyyyy @celebrityjuiceofficial.

“Without doubt some of the funniest television there has been in the last 20 years,” they added.

A third wrote: “Celeb Juice was never the same when you and Ferne left.”

“Can’t believe it’s the last show ever, but can’t wait to see it!” Someone else proclaimed, while a fifth fan said: “Looking forward to watching it.”

Celebrity Juice: the Happy Ending will see Holly and Fearne join current team captains Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore for one last episode.

In addition to Keith, Holly, Fearne, Emily and Laura, Love Island host Maya Jama, rapper Big Narstie, comedian Chris Ramsey, Strictly star Will Mellor, Benidorm actor Johnny Vegas and TOWIE icon Joey Essex will be helping the show go out with a bang.

Since bulldozing its way on to our screens in 2008, Celebrity Juice has provided some of the funniest and anarchic moments on British television in recent years.

Fearne and Holly were the show’s original team captains until 2018 and 2020, when Laura and Emily took up the reins – with inimitable host Keith, presenting the show since its inception.

The one-hour special will air on Thursday, December 8 at 10pm on ITV2.

Following the last ever studio show will be Celebrity Juice: The Last Hurrah, a 60-minute compilation episode which will look back through some of the greatest moments from the last 14 years, with contributions from an array of celebrities that have taken part across the programme run.
