Love Island's Jess Shears in hospital dash as baby boy struggles with infection

Former Love Islander Jess Shears had to rush her baby boy to hospital on Saturday night (November 26) as he became unwell with a chest infection.

The 29-year old from Devon took to her Instagram story to reveal the pair spent the night in a local A&E as the five-month old tot struggled with his breathing.

Jess, who shares her baby with Dom Levers, whom she met on the ITV dating show in 2017, told her 1.1million followers: “Spent last night in A&E with the little one. They think he has bronchitis – any tips for helping him feel better welcome.”

She followed up that post a few hours later, meanwhile, with some more reassuring news: “He perked up in the end and they let us go home said to just monitor is breathing and eating. Apparently it’s going around atm.”

Glamour model Jess then thanked fans for responding to her appeal for help, sharing a video of clip of all the direct messages she had received on the social media platform.

And she later shared a list of the best tips she had received in order to help others in similar situations.

The couple, who also share two year old son Presley, were the first to have sex in the hideaway, before Jess was eliminated from the show.

After Dom soon followed suit, the loved up pair became inseparable and were engaged within three months, before marrying officially in Mykonos in 2018.

Prior to that, however, their ‘first wedding’ took place on ITV’s Good Morning Britain show in bizarre circumstances that saw Jeremy Kyle oversee their Valentine’s Day ceremony in 2018, before being subsequently ‘married’ by co-presenter Richard Arnold.
