22 strangers are set to arrive at a beautiful castle in the Scottish Highlands to play the “ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust.”

Hidden amongst the contestants are three Traitors whose job it is to murder a player every night, without getting caught.

It’s then up to the Faithfuls to try and work out who the Traitors are and banish them before they themselves are murdered.

Phillip told Claudia that he was “utterly hooked” on The Traitors already and compared the series to ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! but with a difference.

Earlier in the show, ITV viewers were rubbed up the wrong way as Holly and Phillip showed off the set’s new Christmas decorations.

Complete with 22 huge Christmas trees, the home of This Morning has been transformed into a lavish winter wonderland.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Trying to justify the sheer extravagance of it all.”

Another moaned: “And here’s me thinking that Christmas is in December.”

A third person posted: “Still November #ThisMorning.”
