Rapper A$AP Rocky says he wasn’t a very good guy until he started a family with popstar Rihanna
A$AP Rocky claims having kids with Rihanna made him a ‘loving kind of fella’.
The rapper shares three children with the popstar 4-month-old daughter Rocki Irish and sons Riot Rose, 2, and RZA, 3 and he’s admitted that before starting a family he wasn’t the nicest person.
A$AP Rocky shared: “I’ve found myself way more emotional now that I have kids. Before the kids and children I was probably a piece of s**t and cold-hearted but now I think I am a loving kind of fella you know, I’ve got a love to give to the world.”
However the 37-year-old will be less kind to anyone that dates his daughter in the future. Asked how he’ll handle her bringing partners home, he said: “I’m gonna pray for them, yeah it’s gonna be tough for them indeed.”
Only four months after giving birth to their daughter Rocki Irish, Rihanna has slipped back into the lingerie to promote her brand Savage X Fenty’s upcoming Valentines collection
She recently said: “The babies are amazing. They’re all getting bigger, and I cannot take it. My sons, oh my god, their faces are changing. Their necks are getting longer. I love it!”
And being a family has united them: “We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship. Everything changes when you have a baby, but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer”, Rihanna gushed.
Despite being one half of the most powerful couple A$AP Rocky admitted to getting starstruck all the time, even when meeting Denzel Washington who he stars alongside in Spike Lee’s film Highest 2 Lowest.
He told W Magazine: “All the time. I got starstruck working with Denzel. And even though I know these guys, I get starstruck anytime I encounter André 3000 or Jay-Z. I admire and respect them so much that I still fan out.”
Speaking about rapping in the film with Denzel, he continued: “He actually wrote my part and his part. Denzel Washington is quite the MC. I call him the Word Philosopher. “
