Adam Thomas calls for ITV to air full footage of I’m A Celebrity row with Jimmy Bullard

I’m A Celebrity star Adam Thomas has opened up about his row with Jimmy Bullard in the jungle and wishes ITV would show the full footage of the chaotic argument

Adam Thomas has broken his silence on his I’m A Celebrity explosion – and revealed he wants ITV to broadcast it in its entirety. The Waterloo Road actor clashed with fellow contestant Jimmy Bullard after the former footballer chose to abandon the programme and drag the actor down with him.

Jimmy’s decision sparked a furious Adam raging at his campmate. However, owing to the profanity-laden nature of his tirade, the complete footage wasn’t aired to viewers. It’s remained a source of friction for the ex-Fulham player, who branded Adam’s conduct as “intimidating”.

Everything boiled over during the live finale when Jimmy confronted Adam’s behaviour and sought all the campmates’ views on the incident. While both Sinitta and Craig Charles acknowledged they found it intimidating, Ant McPartlin declined to concur.

He maintained ITV had presented a balanced portrayal of events in the South African jungle – something Adam concurs with. Yet he admitted he wishes producers could simply broadcast the entire episode to settle the argument once and for all.

Speaking to brothers Ryan and Scott Thomas on their The Thomas Bro’s podcast, Adam said: “I’m telling you the truth. This is exactly what happened and how it happened.”, reports the Mirror.

“Granted they never showed the full clip of what happened between me and Jimmy because I was f****** saying the c word a lot and the f bomb. That’s the only thing that I’ll hold my hands up and say that happened, like, I I wish they did show it.” Adam was visibly moved as he confided in his siblings. He also alleged that David Haye told him he was attempting to break him down because of his kindness. “Now if that isn’t classed as bullying, I don’t know what is,” he said.

Adam also disclosed the full scope of the camp situation, much of which didn’t make it to air. Discussing his struggles, the celebrity revealed he had confided in producers during Bush Telegraph sessions.

Shortly afterwards, David was called in. Adam said: “He got pulled to the Bush Telegraph and he came out and he sat me down and he went ‘they’re worried about your mental health. They’ve told me to stop now. Have you been crying in there about me?'”

Adam said he was livid at this, believing producers were aware of his difficulties. When he challenged bosses, they insisted they hadn’t shared any of his concerns with fellow campmates.

Adam continued: “When I came out, I asked David and he was like yeah I just made it all up. I was like ‘wow, you really f****** manipulated me’. Like, he got in my head.

“And that’s the thing as well. Not everyone sees that… it’s a gift what he has. What he did to me to make me feel… this energy.”

As his voice wavered, he added: “This gift. This light that I have. For him to take that away from me. It’s a gift man.”
