Brooklyn Beckham shares heartfelt tribute to Nicola Peltz amid reported ‘family feud’

Brooklyn Beckham has shared a loving tribute to wife Nicola Peltz on Instagram, amid reports of a legal rift with parents David and Victoria Beckham amid their ‘family feud’

Brooklyn Beckham, 26, has seemingly sidestepped his alleged ‘family feud’ drama by posting a touching tribute to his wife Nicola Peltz on her 31st birthday. Brooklyn shared a cosy black-and-white snap of the couple, along with a close-up of actress Nicola cradling a white rose, on his Instagram.

In his heartfelt caption, Brooklyn penned: “My dear Nicola x happy birthday beautiful girl x I love you with all my heart and I am the luckiest man to call you my wife x you are the funniest and most hard working person I know x can’t wait to stay young with you baby girl xx.”

The post quickly garnered over 90,000 likes from fans, but comments were disabled amidst swirling rumours of a ‘feud’ between Brooklyn and his famous parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.

Reports suggest that Brooklyn has taken the drastic step of sending a legal letter to his parents, instructing them to communicate with him solely through his lawyers henceforth.

Speculation about a family rift has been rife since Brooklyn’s last public outing with his parents at Christmas in 2024. It’s believed that tensions flared at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, when Victoria was reportedly overlooked for the task of designing her daughter-in-law’s dress.

Since then, Brooklyn has been conspicuously absent from family social media posts, until it was shockingly revealed by his younger brother Cruz that Brooklyn had blocked his entire family on social media – including his 14-year-old sister, Harper Seven.

It was also recently claimed Brooklyn has sent his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, a legal letter stating they can only contact him through his lawyers from now on.

The “desist” letter reportedly instructs David and Victoria Beckham to refrain from “tagging” their eldest son on social media, as he feels swamped by their constant public posts.

Family lawyer Kiran Beeharry, Partner and Joint Head of the Family Law team at SA Law, recently shed light on what this notice could mean for the celebrity couple and the severe repercussions they could face if they ignore the warning.

Beeharry clarified: “The ‘Legal Notice’ can be construed as a pre-action warning letter against harassment and injunctions”.

He went on to add that any breach of this could mean “harassment” injunctions could be brought to the door of the Beckham’s Cotswold abode.

Beeharry added that the Beckhams would likely have to communicate with Brooklyn only through lawyers: “Because of the PR issues, one would expect the Beckhams to respect the notice and only contact Brooklyn via his lawyers.

“In respect of tags on social media posts, this potentially opens up issues in respect of sharing private photos. People have a right to enjoy a ‘private family life’ and sharing private photos without consent could encroach on this right.”
