Schofield died on February 28 in Los Angeles, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Former owner of London’s Take Two agency, Melissa Richardson, said she was “loved”.

Her tribute, obtained by THR, read: “She was one of David Bailey’s favorites and appeared in countless shoots for Italian Vogue. She was the forerunner of Take Two – without her, we could never have made it as we did.”

“We loved her because she was funny and real and beautiful and down to earth. She never changed from the sweet little 17-year-old Welsh girl I first met.

She added: “She was directly loyal, caring, and above all, a raging beauty. She knew her craft. She was the best.”

A fan on X, formerly Twitter, wrote: “Rest in peace, Annabel Schofield. Fans of Dallas will remember Annabel as Laurel Ellis in 1988.”

Annabel, who was previously represented by Take Two, famously appeared in a Bugle Boy Jeans TV ad where she is seen driving through the desert in a black Ferrari, and says the line: “Excuse me, are those Bugle Boy jeans you’re wearing?”

Annabel’s film credits include Solar Crisis, Eye of the Widow and Dragonard. She worked behind the camera for projects such as Doom, The Brothers Grimm, and City of Ember.
