Melanie C sent temperatures soaring on the beach in Ibiza while enjoying her honeymoon with new husband Chris Dingwall.
The smitten pair tied the knot at The Country House Cumbria earlier this month, with Melanie’s Spice Girl bandmates in attendance. Although Victoria Beckham wasn’t able to make it, the VB designer she provided Melanie’s gorgeous white wedding dress.
Fresh from their nuptials just a couple of weeks ago, Melanie and Chris could be seen packing on the PDA this week on their family holiday. They looked more loved up than ever as they shared kisses and hugs in the ocean.
Melanie, 52, put on a scorching display in her stunning black bikini, which highlighted her killer athletic physique. The singer was seen strutting through the sand and into the ocean for a dip.
The pop star was loving her day at the beach and was seen wrapping her arms around Chris’ neck in the water. Both decided to shield their eyes from the rays with a pair of sunglasses, and Melanie tied her hair back in a bun to avoid her locks getting splashed.
Melanie and Chris were joined by her stepdad Dennis and mum Joan on the relaxed holiday. The happy couple walked down the aisle in the Lake District on July 18.
Sources close to the band revealed that Geri and Mel B were civil to each other during Melanie C’s intimate wedding ceremony and reception. The pair have had an ongoing rift since 2022, with the duo trading jabs on what happened behind the scenes during their heyday in the 1990s.
One insider told The Sun: “Melanie and Chris’ wedding was perfect, they couldn’t be happier. They chose a classy, laid-back ceremony before a reception with their closest friends and family.
“Mel B gave a speech which got a lot of laughs, as well as some tears − it was really beautiful. Geri was there but there was no awkwardness between her and Mel B. It was a day for celebrating Melanie and Chris’s love for each other and that was all anyone wanted to do.”
Melanie told British Vogue that the wedding was “low-key, relaxed, romantic and chic,” adding: “I’m so excited for the world to know he’s my husband.”
She said of her bond with Chris: “The spark was immediate. I was 49 when I met Chris and I was in a really good place. We had a date in Australia, and it’s been difficult to separate us ever since.
“He’s been such a beautiful addition to mine and my daughter’s life. Because, you know, I’m a single mum. My daughter is 17, and we’re pretty resilient the two of us, we’re a team. For anybody coming into our world… it was going to be tough, and he just fits perfectly. It’s a beautiful dynamic.”
