Disgraced rapper P Diddy, who is currently behind bars at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, was reportedly involved in a punch-up with a fellow inmate at the prison
P Diddy has reportedly been thrown into solitary confinement after being involved in a prison brawl.
The disgraced rapper, 56, was sentenced to four years in prison last year after he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
It’s alleged that Diddy, real name Sean Combs, got into a fight with another inmate this week at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. According to TMZ, Diddy started the fight when the other inmate insulted him, and the pair ended up shoving and punching one another.
The outlet reported that the pair “got into a scuffle and started pushing eachother and throwing jabs” before prison staff intervened and separated the men. Diddy’s representative has declined to comment.
FCI Fort Dix told Daily Mail: “‘For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not release information regarding the conditions of confinement for any inmate, including housing assignments, nor do we discuss whether a particular inmate is the subject of allegations, investigations, or sanctions.”
Diddy transferred to FCI Fort Dix from MDC-Brooklyn in October of last year. A representative for the rapper said at the time that Diddy “is an active participant in the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP)” and takes the process “seriously”.
Diddy is expected to be released in April of 2028. Diddy has previously appealed against his 50-month prison sentence, asking for an immediate prison release.
In a court filing, he argued that he had been improperly sentenced. A federal judge previously denied Combs’ request to overturn his conviction.
Diddy was recently accused of sexually assaulting a minor. A male former child actor has filed a lawsuit against the disgraced rapper, alleging he assaulted him when he was a child.
The man has claimed he was invited to a networking event in the Hollywood Hills in 2007. The claimant alleged that the rapper asked him to speak privately about possible career opportunities.
He alleged that, during this alleged meeting, Diddy began “rubbing on parts of his body,” before performing a sex act on the man, as well as “pleasuring” himself. A spokesperson for Combs said: “The allegations from this so-called nameless child actor are false and ridiculous. He’s just another hater in a long list of people trying to get in on the money gravy train encouraged by personal injury lawyers.
“Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—and that includes any child! These allegations will be disproved like all the rest.”
