Sydney Sweeney’s ‘boobs popped out’ of low-cut Euphoria wedding dress on set

Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney’s character Cassie recently tied the knot with her on-screen boyfriend Nate, but while getting dressed to film the scene her chest was bursting at the seams

Sydney Sweeney suffered a multiple wardrobe malfunctions on the chest area while rehearsing for Euphoria. Her character Cassie ties the knot with Jacob Elordi’s Nate during the most explosive episode of the third season so far.

For the scene, Sydney wore a billowing custom Jackson Wiederhoeft bridal gown with a full face veil and a neck full of pearls, but the most eye-catching part was her super low-cut neckline that exposed more of her chest than anyone ever expected.

The costume department faced a serious blunder as they realised Sydney was having a lot of slippage. Euphoria’s costume lead Natasha Newman-Thomas told InStyle: “Sydney kept having nip slips and I was like: ‘Okay, we’re not going to tape her in. We’re going to embrace it.”

“I was like: ‘We’re going to make custom pasties out of the same hand-beaded fabric and embrace the nip slip because that’s so Cassie’.”

Natasha said that the dress matches “Cassie’s psychology” and her desire to be “a princess” on her wedding day: “And we really wanted her to feel special.”

“I wanted to make the most beautiful, sexy wedding dress with just the slightest touch of tackiness because it’s Cassie.”

Jackson Wiederhoeft said that the gown is “the type of dress where the bride wants all the s***,” along with “the high slit, the beading, the huge 15-foot train.”

He said: “Best case scenario, I think you’re dressing as a form of self-expression [for your wedding day].”

“But there is a scenario in which you’re dressing as revenge and as a form of trying to outdo everyone. It was more about doing the most.”
