  • T.I. Insists He's Not Dissing Drake With Urinating Lines: 'I Ain't Had No Malicious Intent'

    WENN/FayesVision/Euan Cherry

In an interview with Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio, the ‘No Mediocre’ rapper is confused over how people can take his line on ‘We Did It Big’ as a diss directed at the Canadian superstar.

    Oct 24, 2020
AceShowbiz – T.I. recently made headlines when he confirmed the story of his late friend, Terrance Beasley a.k.a. Cap, urinating Drake at a private movie screening via his new album “The L.I.B.R.A”. People were convinced that the “No Mediocre” rapper was dissing the Canadian superstar with the lines, but he has since insisted in an interview that he was not throwing jabs at him.
During an interview with Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio with Ebro Darden, T.I. made it clear he had no malicious intent with the lines, saying that he was mad at Cap when that happened. He said, “I shut all that s**t down. I didn’t wanna be part of something that was a harmless incident. … I didn’t want it to be weaponized against anybody … I was pissed off at my partner when it happened … The wildest s**t I’ve ever seen before in my f**king life. You know what I’m saying?”

“But that s**t, I ain’t had no malicious intent,” the “Ant-Man and the Wasp” star added. “I just don’t see how it could ever be taken as a diss. I don’t see how that could be. That would be someone allowing their emotions to manipulate them, if so.”
T.I. confirmed the long-running rumors on track “We Did It Big” featuring John Legend. “Caught a body, spent millions appealin’ your case,” he raps. “While I’m fightin’ my own, somehow got you home/ So drunk in L.A., end up pissin’ on Drake, s**t/F**k it, that’s still my brother since back in the trap house.”
Drake apparently did not appreciate what his fellow rapper revealed on the song because days after his album hit the store, T.I. is no longer on the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker’s following list on Instagram.

  • T.I. Confirms His Friend Peed on Drake in New Album, the Latter Unfollows Him

    WENN/FayesVision

Rumors of Terrance Beasley a.k.a. Cap urinating on the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker were first started by Meek Mill, who rapped on ‘Wanna Know’, ‘You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater n***a, we ain’t forget.’

    Oct 19, 2020
AceShowbiz – Now that T.I. has confirmed a long-standing rumor surrounding him and Drake, it appears the latter has no reason to follow his fellow rapper any longer. The Canadian superstar hit the unfollow button on the “No Mediocre” rapper’s Instagram page after Tip revealed in his new album, “The L.I.B.R.A.”, that his friend did pee on Drake before.
Tip made the confession on his song, “We Did It Big”, featuring John Legend. “Caught a body, spent millions appealin’ your case,” he raps. “While I’m fightin’ my own, somehow got you home/ So drunk in L.A., end up pissin’ on Drake, s**t/F**k it, that’s still my brother since back in the trap house.”

Now, days after the album hit the stores, Tip is no longer on Drake’s following list.
Rumors of the incident first surfaced in public back in 2015, when Drake was in a full-blown beef with Meek Mill. Releasing a diss song called “Wanna Know”, the Philly rapper spitted on the tune, “You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater n***a, we ain’t forget/Real n***as back in style this s**t is lit/This that Ja Rule s**t and 50 Cent.”
Soon after Meek’s claims made headlines, sources explained that the incident occured during a private screening of “Takers” in 2010. Terrance Beasley a.k.a. Cap, who was killed in prison nearly a year ago, was allegedly highly intoxicated and began urinating on himself. Further reports suggested that he got into it with Drake and his crew, with some pee unintentionally getting on the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker.
Drake, learning of this, reportedly got up from his seat 30 minutes into the movie, cursing out and leaving the venue.

  • Drake Responds to Nicki Minaj Inviting Him to Playdate With Their Sons on New Song

    WENN/FayesVision/Judy Eddy

Recorded when the ‘Bang Bang’ hitmaker was nine-month pregnant, ‘Whole Lotta Choppas’ remix finds her rapping, ‘To be honest, I hope one day we do a play-date with Adonis.’
    Oct 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – Not long after Nicki Minaj gave birth to her first child, the rap superstar is already back in the industry. The new mom surprised fans on Thursday night, October 15 by hopping on the remix of Sada Baby’s “Whole Lotta Choppas”, name-dropping Drake’s son Adonis on the song.
Recorded when Nicki was nine-month pregnant, the song finds her touching on several topics including the Black Lives Matter movement and her plastic surgeries. At one point during the tune, the “Bang Bang” hitmaker raps, “To be honest, I hope one day we do a play-date with Adonis/ Ooh, I’m ’bout my cake, get your bakin’ on.”

Drake was quick to give his response, loving the ideas. In a post shared on Instagram Stories, the Canadian rapper said, “Play dates soon come [love emoji].”

This also confirmed that Drake and Nicki are back on good terms. The rappers used to be really close in the past, but their friendship started going south in 2015 after Drake began beefing with Meek Mill, who was dating the “Starship” rapper at the time. Drake and Nicki reconnected for a while after the latter broke up with Meek. However, their reconciliation was short-lived. In 2018, Drake and Nicki fell out again after the former made up with Meek, before both the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker and Nicki unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Furthermore, later in December of that year, Nicki seemed to take a jab at both Drake and Meek on her freestyle “Barbie Going Bad”. She rapped, “When you lose the Queen, n****s friendly, dawg/ It was just back to back like Wimbley, dawg.” Drake himself admitted in an interview that the drama changed his relationship with Nicki “a lot,” before adding, “Probably forever.”

    Oct 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Drake is apparently going to be featured in 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s “Savage Mode 2” album, and it looks like he makes some shocking revelation about his love life. Hours prior to the release of the highly-anticipated album, one of the songs off the record has been leaked online and found Drake confessing to dating SZA in the past.
Titled “Mr. Right Now”, the song features Savage rapping in the chorus, “Ayy, turn your phone off (Straight up), take your clothes off (Straight up)/ I’m a savage but I f**k her to a slow song (Straight up)/ Turn the lights down (Straight up), lay the pipe down (Straight up)/ I ain’t Mr. Right but I’m Mr. Right Now (21),” before passing the baton to Drake.

In his own verse, the Canadian superstar spits his bars, “Turn your phone off, take your clothes off/ I’m a sav’, but I f**k her to a slow song.” His next lines shock a lot of people as he rhymes, “Yeah, said she wanna f**k to some SZA, wait/ ‘Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08.”
As mentioned above, people were shocked after listening to the leaked song, considering that the singer should be around 17 should what the rapper said is true. “drake stans tryin to cover for him by saying sza lied abt her age. you cant make this s**t up,” one person weighed in. “Drake was like 21+? Why he bragging about/mentioning 18 year old SZA?” an individual wondered, while someone else commented, “When you find out how old SZA was throughout 2008, versus how old Drake was around that time, that makes this line even more bizarre.”
Besides “Mr. Right Now”, “Savage Mode 2” will feature other songs such as “Many Men” and “Rip Luv”. It is scheduled to hit the stores on Friday midnight, October 2.

    Instagram

The ‘Without Me’ hitmaker calls out the Canadian rapper as she is eating snacks from her Spotify plaques after reaching three billion streams on the streaming platform.
    Sep 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – Halsey enjoyed an outdoor feast from her award plaques as she celebrated three billion Spotify streams on Monday (21Sep20).
The two-time Grammy nominee, who recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of the release of her debut studio album “Badlands”, took to social media to share her latest achievement.
In her post, the star ate snacks and candy from two of her Spotify plaques – one for one billion streams of the 2016 Chainsmokers song “Closer”, on which she’s featured, and another for her 2018 single “Without Me” – each of which featured a round silver dish with the Spotify logo.
As the camera panned up from the table, the hitmaker was seen enjoying a glass of rose wine as she said, “And they owe me one more too,” seemingly referring to her 2018 track “Eastside”, on which she collaborated with Khalid and Benny Blanco, which also surpassed a billion streams.

The “Manic” star captioned the video, “2 outta 3 of my billion plaques received. Check mate @champagnepapi thank you @spotify.” Her mention of Drake comes after he posted a similar video of himself eating pasta out of his Spotify award for a billion streams on his 2018 single “In My Feelings”.

He captioned his clip, “We drank out of Grammys now you need a BILL to eat off the plate @spotify.”
The “Hotline Bling” hitmaker became the most-streamed artist of the decade on Spotify last December, with more than 28 billion streams, having released nearly 200 songs on the streaming platform since 2010.

  • Drake Appears to Applaud Boosie Badazz for Slamming Kanye West

    WENN/Instagram

Following the husband of Kim Kardashian’s Twitter tirade in which he mentions Drake, the Baton Rouge rapper called him out for being jealous of the Canadian rapper.
    Sep 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – Boosie Badazz (formerly known as Lil Boosie) seemingly has had enough with Kanye West and his antics. Following Kanye’s Twitter tirade in which he mentioned Drake, the Baton Rouge rapper called him out and accused him of being jealous of the Canadian rapper.
Kanye recently made use of his social media account to rant about wanting to acquire control of his master recordings. He also talked about bizarre economic structure of the music industry and brought up the “In My Feelings” hitmaker in his tweets. “WE’RE GONIG TO TRANSPARENTLY CHANGE EVERY ALBUM DEAL EVERY PUBLISHING DEAL EVERY MERCH DEAL EVERY TOURING DEAL EXCEPT FOR DRAKE’S DEALS,” so Kanye tweeted on Saturday, September 19. “JUST KIDDING … I LOVE DRAKE TOO … ALL ARTIST MUST BE FREE.”
Although the husband of Kim Kardashian shared that he was “just kidding,” it didn’t stop Boosie for coming at Kanye in Drake’s defense. “@kanyewest WHY U CANT KEEP DRAKE OUT YO MOUTH BRA,” Boosie tweeted. “IM GO SAY IT #stophatin #stophatin smh YOU SHOWING STR8 JEALOUSY N YOU AINT EVEN GOTTA DO THAT. U RICH RICH N***A. SMH.”

While Drake has yet to respond to Kanye name-dropping his name, he seemed to approve Boosie’s reaction to Kanye’s online rants. He expressed his feelings about the whole thing by liking an Instagram post by DJ Akademiks featuring a screenshot of Boosie’s tweet to Kanye.

This is not the first time for Kanye to tweet about Drake in his Twitter tirade. On Monday, September 14, The hip-hop star called out not only Drake, but also J. Cole, demanding a public apology from the two rappers. He first started his rant by vowing not to release any new music until his contract with Sony and Universal is “done,” before calling out both Drake and Cole. “I need a publicly apology from J Cole and Drake to start with immediately … I’m Nat Turner … I’m fighting for us,” so he said on the micro-blogging site.
Kanye also involved Jay-Z in his online rant, saying that he wanted to meet his longtime friend. “I’m not industry bro … I don’t care… I’m in service to Christ … we need world healing … I miss my brothers… I refuse to argue with black men on labels we don’t own… even twitter,” he said in a separate tweet. “I have the utmost respect for all brothers … we need to link and respect each other… no more dissing each other on labels we don’t own.”

  • Drake Appears to Diss Kanye West on New Song, Hires Kim Kardashian Look-Alike for the MV

    [embedded content]

One of the lines that makes people convinced the Canadian star is shading his nemesis finds him rapping, ‘This in between us is not like a store, this isn’t an closeable gap, ayy.’
    Aug 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Drake has officially started his new era. The Canadian hip-hop star has just released his new song entitled “Laugh Now, Cry Later” along with its music video, and people quickly assumed that he dissed his nemesis Kanye West on the newly-released tune that featured Lil Durk.
One of the lines that made people convinced that Drake threw shots at Kanye found the former rapping, “This in between us is not like a store, this isn’t an closeable gap, ayy.” For your information, Kanye signed a deal in June 2020 to bring his clothing line Yeezy to Gap, a clothing store brand.
Some other lines that had people thinking Drake shaded Kanye featured the “Hotline Bling” rapper spitting bars, “Baby, we took a trip, now we on your block and it’s like a ghost town/ Baby, where do these n***as be at when they say they doin’ all this and all that?” He continued to rap, “Please don’t play that n***a songs at this party, I can’t even listen to that.”
As people might have already realized, “Ghost Town” is one of Kanye’s songs, so a number of individuals assumed that Drake was referring to that. Someone speculated, “Drake and Kim Kardashian both have houses in the same hills, and there’s always been rumors about both of them hooking up. ‘Ghost Town’ was one of Kanye’s biggest songs of 2018. This might be a reach but who knows. Drake always does this.”
Not stopping there, some assumed that he made use of the music video to diss Kanye as it was filmed in Nike’s HQ, which is a rival of Kanye’s Yeezy Adidas line. Moreover, an individual pointed out that Drake purposely hired a Kim Kardashian look-alike to star in the music video, which also featured Kevin Durant and Odell Beckham Jr. “Drake drop a Yeezy diss track with a Kim K look alike in the vid,” so the person said.
Putting the diss aside, “Cry Now Laugh Later” serves as the first single off Drake’s upcoming album “Certified Love Boy” which is slated to arrive this summer.
