AceShowbiz – Justin Bieber has made Kanye West’s latest Sunday service a memorable one. The “Yummy” hitmaker attended the “Stronger” rapper’s spiritual gathering in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 23, and treated the attendees to a surprise performance.
The husband of Hailey Baldwin shared a clip of him covering Marvin Sapp’s emotional ballad “Never Would Have Made It” via an Instagram post. Wearing a red hoodie, he serenaded the crowds, “I’m stronger, I’m wiser, I’m better, much better. When I look back over all you brought me through, I can see that you were the one I held on to.”
The “What Do You Mean?” hitmaker was not the only one stealing the spotlight at the event. Rapper Nas delivered a rendition of “Everything” from his eleventh studio album “NASIR”. Another spitter Roddy Ricch also showed up to perform “The Box” from his 2019’s “Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial” album and “Ballin” from his “Perfect Ten” LP.
West himself took the stage to sing his Christian hip hop songs, “Jesus is King” and “Selah”. For the later song, he was joined onstage by his eldest child with Kim Kardashian, North, who was among the choir. The 6-year-old girl could also be seen in her mother’s Instagram Story singing and dancing to “Hallelujah” along with the other children.
On his participation at the Sunday service, Bieber has previously expressed his interest to perform in it. Back in July 2019, he reportedly said “yeah” when asked about it after attending a church conference in Los Angeles with wife Baldwin.
The musician, who is a regular at Los Angeles’ Hillsong Church, had performed the exact same gospel song at Churchome in Los Angeles in August 2019. At the time, he upload a video in social media and wrote a lengthy message about his belief in God. “God is pulling me through a hard season. Having trust in Jesus at your worst times is the absolute hardest,” he said.
“But he is faithful to complete what he started. I also want to thank my wife for being such a huge support in my life through this season.. it says in the bible count it ALL JOY when you face trials of various kinds,” the Canadian singer continued. “Sounds insane considering when u face trials u feel terrible.”

“But if we are grateful and worship god for what we do have in that season there is so much power in that… whatever pain you are going through just keep telling yourself THIS WONT LAST! Love you guys we in this together.”

Initial reports stated that the whole crew has been fired and Ye did not even know that, but a source has now claimed that about 30 people were released and about 80 are still there.
    Feb 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – Kanye West has been making the news every week with his Sunday Service event that is accompanied by his iconic choir. However, it’s been rumored that the rapper has let go of the group and that they were blindsided by the sudden firing.
Initial reports stated that the whole crew has been fired and Ye did not even know that, but a source has now claimed that about 30 people were released and about 80 are still there. Still, the ones who were let go found the firing surprising. “They did not see it coming,” a source told All Hip Hop. “This is a mix of people, many that are not young, and they still want to make it.”
Kanye has yet to respond to this report.
Conducted by Grammy winner Jason White, Sunday Service Choir was formed in January 2019 and has performed every Sunday, as well as Friday, for Ye’s weekly event. The service was initially only held at Calabasas with only a few people being allowed to attend, but it has now become an event where anyone can participate. He even brought his iconic service overseas one time, when he held Sunday Service in South Africa.
Most recently, the group toured to his hometown of Chicago during the NBA All-Star Weekend. During the event, which tickets sold out in just a day, the choir covered “Hallelujah”, “Closed on Sunday” and “Follow God”. The “Stronger” rapper appeared halfway through the show, delivering “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Selah”. Remixes of “Power”, “Father Stretch My Hands” and “Fade” were also performed at the event taking place at University of Illinois Chicago.
Besides performing alongside Kanye at Sunday Service, the choir released their debut album, “Jesus Is Born”, on December 25, 2019. They also took part in the production of his first gospel album “Jesus Is King”.

Watch: Kanye West Treats Sunday Service Attendees in Chicago to Medley of Hits

Following his service in Miami and Los Angeles, the ‘Follow God’ rapper brings his weekly religious event to his hometown ahead of the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.
    Feb 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – Kanye West has given gospel treatment to many hit songs. Two weeks after bringing his Sunday Service to Miami for this year’s Super Bowl, the “Follow God” rapper returned to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois ahead of the 2020 NBA All-Star Game, and treated nearly 10,000 fans to his weekly religious event.
On Sunday afternoon, February 16, West’s choir, The Samples, kicked start the concert at the Credit Union 1 Arena at the University of Illinois Chicago almost an hour after its original 2 P.M. scheduled time. Congregating in the middle of the venue, they covered “Hallelujah”, “Closed on Sunday” and “Follow God”.
Appearing halfway through the show, the husband of Kim Kardashian delivered “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Selah”, a single from his 2019 album “Jesus is King”, while remixes of “Power”, “Father Stretch My Hands” and “Fade” were also performed. His choir also transformed such songs as A$AP Ferg’s “New Level”, Soul II Soul’s 1989 hit “Back to Life” and Maze & Frankie Beverly’s 1977 song “Before I Let Go” into God-praising anthem.
At the event, West addressed criticism from haters who doubt his newfound relationship with God. “I’m not here to perform for y’all. I don’t do performances. I’m only here to tell you what saved my life and brought my mind back,” he told attendees. “I’m not saying that when you get delivered and when you get saved that life becomes easy, but you get to lean on a rock that won’t ever fail you.”
The “Stronger” rapper additionally shared his thought on healing through God. “With God on your side, everything is possible. With God on your side, everything is probable and nothing is impossible. That’s the gospel,” he gushed.

The two-hour Sunday concert was West’s second time bringing his Sunday Service to his hometown. Back in September 2019, he hosted the spiritual get together at Huntington Bank Pavilion, and treated attendees with a special performance by Chance the Rapper who joined the choir to tackle “Ultralight Beam”.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Daughter North Shows Her Swag During Rap Performance

    Instagram

The ‘Black Skinhead’ rapper smiles from ear to ear as he proudly watches his eldest child perform an original song and move to the beat during a school dance.
    Feb 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – Kim Kardashian’s oldest daughter seemed to have inherited her father Kanye West’s musical talents. On Saturday night, February 8, North West showed off her swag as she delivered a rap performance during a school dance at her private elementary school in Los Angeles.
Surrounded by her classmates and their parents, the 6-year-old confidently lip synced an original song while rocking her body to the beat of the music. She was accompanied by her rapper father who looked closely at her and smiled from ear-to-ear. Several times during her performance, her father could be seen leaning down and whispering to her.
The lyrics of the song itself contained a reference to YouTube personality JoJo Siwa. “And I’m friends with JoJo,” a part of the song could be heard. The lyrics also revealed that North is missing a friend named Hayden. “I miss you Hayden / it’s been a long time / we should get on FaceTime / so I can say hi,” it went.

For the performance, North donned a black fringe jacket, black pants and and a pair of bright pink shoes. Her hair was styled in two long pigtails. Her father Kanye, in the meantime, rocked a yellow jacket and a pair of dark trousers.
This was not North’s first public performance. In one episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, Kim talked about how her daughter regularly performed at her father’s Sunday Service. “North loves Sunday Service,” she shared. “And she just loves to dance, she loves to sings, she loves to be a part of just, the whole experience with her dad. Singing songs and being together.”
North’s rap performance came one day before Kim and Kanye made an appearance at Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles’ super private Oscars after-party. The power couple came to the bash held at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles after attending the Vanity Fair Oscars Party. She wore a cream-hued, asymmetrical-shouldered Alexander McQueen gown, while the “Follow God” rapper kept it simple with a leather pant suit and sleek sunglasses.
