'Bachelor' Recap: More Ladies Go Back Home Prior to Hometown Dates

    Instagram

Meanwhile, a new episode of the long-running ABC dating show sees the aftermath of former contestant Heather Martin surprisingly arriving at the house during the cocktail party.

    Feb 16, 2021
AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor” returns with a new episode on Monday, February 15. The new episode saw the aftermath of former contestant Heather Martin surprisingly arriving at the house during the cocktail party. As the tension grew among the ladies, Bachelor Matt James decided to not keep Heather around and send her home.
“It’s been a roller coaster of emotions tonight. I already sent Heather home,” Matt said in confessional. He was later seen picking up the first rose and gave it to Bri. Also receiving a rose from Matt were Rachael, Kit, Jessenia and Abigail. That meant Chelsea and Serena C. were eliminated. “It sucks to get your hopes up,” said Chelsea, while Serena admitted that she felt like being “rejected.”
The next morning, Matt and Serena P. had a one-on-one date in which they did a trantic yoga. “I’m just vibing right now. I left each pose that much closer to Serena,” so Matt said. During the date, Serena told him that she wasn’t into PDA. “That was a first and last for me when it comes to tantric yoga,” she told Matt. “I’m not an overly affectionate person, especially in public. It was just like, beyond my comfort zone. And a lot of my brain was like, ‘tried it and done.’ ”
Later at the night portion of the date, Matt said to Serena P. that he wanted her family’s approval of him. “I could 100 percent see myself falling in love with her,” Matt revealed in confessional.

The next day during the group date, Matt tried to get to know the other ladies better. Bri said that she made a big decision by resigning from her job to be on the show, while Abigail opened up about her concern regarding her stance in Matt’s heart. Matt admitted that his heart pulled him in another direction, telling Abigail, “You deserve someone who is going to put you first.” With that, Abigail was eliminated.
Meanwhile, Rachael told Matt that she loved her and Matt told her that he wanted to meet her family. He also connected with Kit, who believed that she would get a rose that night. However, she later visited Matt in his room. She told him that while she could see herself falling in love with him, she wasn’t really sure. “You deserve someone who is 100 percent sure of you getting down on one knee tomorrow, and that’s not me,” Kit told Matt before walking out.
Later, Matt and Jessenia had a one-on-one date. Matt pulled in a flashy red car before they enjoyed an “incredible dinner” in a room of Christmas lights. Later, Jessenia got candid about her feelings for Matt. While Matt was grateful for that, he told her, “I don’t think I’m there yet. Knowing you deserve unwavering love and respect… I can’t give you this rose.” She was “blindsided” by the decision but she said she would cherish her memories with him.
It was time for the rose ceremony. She gave out the roses to Bri and Michelle as they joined Serena P. and Rachael who got theirs first. Unfortunately, Pieper didn’t get one and had to be sent home.
Next week’s episode will be Hometown Dates.

'Bachelor' Host Chris Harrison's Girlfriend Admits He Was 'Wrong' for 'Defending Racism'

    Instagram

Lauren Zima, who has been dating Chris since 2019, addresses her boyfriend’s controversial interview after he announces that he will take a break from the long-running dating show.

    Feb 15, 2021
AceShowbiz – Chris Harrison’s girlfriend has addressed his controversial interview with Rachel Lindsay. Shortly after “The Bachelor” host announced that he will take a break from the long-running dating show for “excusing” a contestant’s past racist behavior, Lauren Zima admitted that he was “wrong” for “defending racism.”
The Entertainment Tonight correspondent, who has been dating Chris since 2019, sent out her statement via Instagram Story on Saturday, February 13. “What Chris said was wrong and disappointing,” she wrote in the post. “Defending racism can never happen. Accountability comes first, what’s next is learning and growth.”
Earlier that day, Lauren’s boyfriend Chris took to his own Instagram account to apologize for a second time for his “ignorance.” He began his lengthy message, “I have spent the last few days listening to the pain my words have caused, and I am deeply remorseful. My ignorance did damage to my friends, colleagues and strangers alike. I have no one to blame but myself for what I said and the way I spoke.”
“I set standards for myself, and have to meet them. I feel that with every fiber of my being. Now just as I taught my children to stand up, and to own their actions, I will do the same,” the 49-year-old added. “By excusing historical racism, I defended it. I invoked the term ‘woke police,’ which is unacceptable. I am ashamed over how uninformed I was. I was so wrong.”

“To the Black community, to the BIPOC community: I am so sorry. My words were harmful. I am listening, and I truly apologize for my ignorance and any pain it caused you,” the TV host further pleaded. “I want to give my heartfelt thanks to the people from these communities who I’ve had enlightening conversations with over the past few days, and I am so grateful to those who have reached out to help me on my path to anti-racism.”
Chris then declared that taking a break from the ABC franchise would be his best decision. “The historic season of The Bachelor should not be marred or overshadowed by my mistakes or diminished by my actions,” he elaborated. “To that end, I have consulted with Warner Bros. and ABC and will be stepping aside for a period of time and will not join for the After the Final Rose special.”

Chris had already issued his apology on Wednesday, February 10 for his remarks in his interview with Rachel. He regretted his action in defending “The Bachelor” contestant Rachael Kirkconnell for allegedly attending a 2018 fraternity party that a Reddit user described as an “antebellum plantation themed ball.”

'Bachelor' Recap: Former 'Bachelor' Contestant Surprisingly Crashes Cocktail Party

    ABC

In episode 6 of Matt James’ season 25, the ABC dating competition show continues to show some twists with former ‘Bachelor’ contestant joining the show, much to the ladies’ surprise.

    Feb 9, 2021
AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor” returned with an all-new episode on Monday, February 8. In episode 6 of Matt James’ season 25, the show continued to show some twists with former “Bachelor” contestant Heather Martin returning, much to the ladies’ surprise.
Prior to that, viewers saw Matt talking with Jessenia and MJ, who was portrayed as a new villain in the house. After Matt pulled Jessenia aside to talk, she told him that MJ lied to him about the toxicity in the house and she and Victoria were actually the ones causing the situations.
When her turn came, MJ told Matt, “My heart is so big and I am trying to show that to you every second I get with you, and the fact that Jessenia said that I was creating this divide in the house just as I am trying to bring everyone together, I am mentally and emotionally exhausted, and to have my character put into question was like that hurt me the most.”
Matt admitted to being conflicted after hearing those. But he decided that he just couldn’t give the rose to MJ and handed it to Jessenia instead. Later, the rest of the women arrived for the cocktail party, only to find an empty room. Host Chris Harrison announced that Matt decided to skip the cocktail party and go straight to the rose ceremony where he presented the roses to Serena P., Michelle, Pieper, Bri, Chelsea and Katie. The final rose, meanwhile, went to Serena C.
The next day, Pieper got the first date card while Serena C. decided to confront Katie, whom she accused of being calculated and annoying. Meanwhile, Chris Harrison was surprised to see Heather in the gate. She said that former “The Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown, who is also her best friend, told her that Matt was perfect for her, that’s why Heather couldn’t let Matt get engaged without meeting him first.
When Chris told her that they’re in quarantine and had been pretty far into the season, Heather insisted that nothing could stop her. Still, Chris told her to go back to her hotel for now and promised Heather that he would be in touch after speaking to others.

Later, Matt and Pieper enjoyed their one-on-one date in an apparent forest. During dinner, Pieper told Matt that she’s falling in love with him. In response, Matt gave her the rose and told her that he looked forward to spend more time with her. They then headed to a private concert by Temecula Road.
Meanwhile, Bri, Kit, Rachael, Michelle, Jessenia, Serena P., Abigail, Chelsea and Serena C. were named for the next group date. That meant the second one-on-one date went to Katie. In the group date, they were playing bowling as they were put into two teams. The winning team was promised to a romantic evening with Matt, while the rest should return to the house. It was revealed that Michelle, Serena P., Jessenia and Chelsea won.
But when the losing team arrived at the house, Chris stopped by to deliver another date card for Abigail, Serena C, Kit. Bri and Rachael. In the card, Matt shared that he felt “terrible about today, I need time with you please.”
As for Katie, at her one-on-one date with Matt, Katie opened up about not being who she wanted to be in her last relationship. “There’s no changing anybody,” she shared. “I’m very hopeful my love story is your love story, and I’m here till the end if you want me to be.”
However, Matt wasn’t smiling while hearing that. “You’ve been honest with me, and I owe the same honesty to you, and the truth is my relationship with some of the other women in the house has progressed further along than ours has up until this point. And I can’t give you this rose tonight,” he told Katie. “And that’s not a slight at who you are and what our time has been together. I just haven’t had those feelings I need to have of finding a wife in this process.” With that, Katie was eliminated.
At the cocktail party, everyone was surprised by Heather’s sudden appearance. In next week’s episode, viewers will see the drama between Heather and other ladies as she’s seen crying, while Matt teases about falling in another direction.

'Bachelor' Recap: Two Villains Are Eliminated After Matt James' Confrontation

    ABC

Meanwhile, Matt reveals that he’s in love with one of the ladies in a fairytale-like one-on-one date in the new episode of the ABC dating competition show.

    Feb 2, 2021
AceShowbiz – A new episode of “The Bachelor” season 25 arrived on Monday, February 1. It kicked off with Victoria having a breakdown as she felt like she was “two steps away from going home.” Later, she was seen talking bad about the new women on a walk with Kit, while Brittany shared in confessionals that she was hurt by the escort rumors that were spread by Anna.
In the cocktail party time, Matt James prepared a big speech about bullying among the ladies. “Before we get into tonight, I wanted to address something that was brought to my attention… about the environment in the house, how toxic it is, that there’s a mob mentality… really a culture of bullying,” Matt said, before mentioning the rumors that could “potentially ruin someone’s life.”
“I don’t get enough time with you all, and now this… there’s a lot of answers to questions that I need tonight. So Brittany, can we talk?” Matt asked. “Anna had came up to me to apologize, and she was like, when you first came here… we were telling everyone you were an escort. I was completely caught off guard. That’s not true,” Brittany shared. “It hurts a lot. It really hurts.”
Meanwhile, Anna admitted that the rumors were on her, noting that she was “so sad and upset” with herself. “That’s the first thing you should know. Before even coming here, I received messages about another girl who would also be here, Brittany, and then when she did show up, the worst thing I could say was said,” she told Matt. “And immediately I felt horrible about it, and I was like, ‘This is on me. This is me being a shallow person in the worst moment ever.’ ”
In response to that, Matt told Anna that he believed that Anna wasn’t “a horrible person.” Despite that, Matt added, “I’ve had to take responsibility for my words and my actions, and I’ve grown from it. But I have a responsibility to the women that are here, to Brittany, to myself, to follow my heart. And unfortunately, I can’t see you being a part of that journey anymore.” With that, Anna was sent home.
During a one-on-one moment with Matt, Ryan opened up to him about being called a “ho” by Victoria just because she’s a dancer. “The word ho is just… it’s really hard to hear someone say that about you when it’s just not true,” she cried. Victoria then approached Ryan after her talk with Matt. “I’m always playful. I’m not malicious,” Victoria said before calling Ryan “fake.”

It didn’t take long before Matt confronted Victoria. “I had this conversation with Ryan, and before I could even ask her a question, she’s crying. And I’m just like… it was kind of similar to how my conversation with Brittany went about Anna. People’s words are so powerful, and when you said that Ryan was a ho for being a dancer,” Matt said, to which Victoria claimed that it was “completely taken out of context!” Matt wasn’t having it as he asked, “Like, I’m just curious, what context would calling someone a ho be acceptable to be taken in?” The question was met with Victoria’s silence.
It’s finally time for the rose ceremony and Brittany got the first rose. Rachel and some other ladies got the rose with Serena C. getting the last rose, meaning that Victoria was eliminated. She told Matt, “I honestly feel so sorry for you that you would listen to hearsay and not all of the facts behind a situation. So, goodbye.”
The next day, Matt had a one-on-one fairytale date with Rachael. “You’re pulling me in!” Matt said with a smile. “I like everything about you, even things you may be ultra aware of, I find those things attractive, and I love them about you. When I’m around you, you don’t even have to try to get my attention,” Matt told her. Later, Matt said that he was in love with her. “And it is scary to say, but when I’m with you, it just feels right. With that being said, Rachael, would you accept this rose?” he asked.
Later during a group date, MJ was complaining about being portrayed as a villain. As Matt had the group date rose to Abigail, MJ was determined to set the record straight.
The next one-on-one date was between Matt and Kit and they bonded well. Kit and Matt even made out while making cookies and he gave Kit the rose.
Jessenia and MJ were then invited to a two-on-one date with Matt and the two argued as soon as they met. Before the episode ended, viewers were teased about the arrival of Tyler Cameron.

'Bachelor' Contestant Victoria Larson Addresses the 'Bullying' Accusations

    Instagram

The self-proclaimed ‘queen’ also reveals that she apologized ‘privately’ to fellow cast members with whom she was feuding on the show, adding that she views ‘all women as queens.’

    Jan 29, 2021
AceShowbiz – Victoria Larson is one of the most outstanding contestants in Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor”, but she may not be known for a good thing. Viewers appear to see her as a villain of the season as many label her a bully. Addressing the matter, Victoria took to her Instagram Story to get candid about her ups and downs with other contestants on the show.
“I think in my effort to make my opinions heard it may have been perceived as bullying by some, and I feel bad if my words or actions offended anyone,” the 28-year-old wrote in a now-deleted post. “I take time each day to reflect and learn the lesson.”
She went on saying that she learned from her experience on the ABC dating competition show. “I think it’s important to learn from the past, live in the present, and to always move forward with a positive attitude. We learn more each day about social media and how it impacts us. I just want to encourage us all to be more positive and supportive,” she added.

The self-proclaimed “queen” also revealed that she apologized “privately” to fellow cast members with whom she was feuding on the show, claiming that she viewed “all women as queens.” She then concluded her message, “Lastly, of course name calling is never OK, but I hold myself accountable and can just do better next time. I cannot change the past. It truly was not malicious and I am so sorry. I love each girl I met on my journey!”
Prior to this, a picture of Victoria’s mugshot when she was arrested for shoplifting surfaced online. It was reported that back in 2012, she was caught stealing $250 worth of items from a Tallahassee Publix. In a CCTV video, she was seen placing 25 items, from grocery food to cosmetics, into a reusable shopping bag inside her shopping cart. However, she didn’t pay for those items when using the self check-out.
The California native was allegedly brought back inside not long after she exited the store and was immediately detained until police arrived on the scene. She was booked into and stayed in Leon County Jail for two days before she was released after posting $1,000 bail.
Victoria reportedly pleaded no contest in court to charges of petit theft, earning her six months of probation. She also was required to pay hundreds of dollars in fees and attend theft awareness classes.

Sarah Trott Insists She's Single While Filming 'The Bachelor' Despite DJ Bijou 'Steamy Pictures'

    Instagram

The former contestant in Matt James’ season emphasizes that she does not ‘have a boyfriend before, during or after her appearance’ on the hit dating show.

    Jan 28, 2021
AceShowbiz – Sarah Trott did not date anyone during her appearance on “The Bachelor”. Having been caught in romance rumors with Ben Dorman a.k.a. DJ Bijou after their “steamy pictures” surfaced online, the ex-contestant in Matt James’ season insists that she was single during the filming of the hit dating show.
“Sarah unequivocally did not have a boyfriend before, during or after her appearance on ‘The Bachelor’,” a representative for the 24-year-old reality star said in a statement to the press. “When she took a trip to Cabo in August 2020, she did so with a group of friends, Ben Dorman being one of them.”
“Ben and Sarah had a fun trip with their mutual friends, and while there may have been some intimate moments between them, it did not lead to a relationship,” the rep added in the statement. “Sarah went on the trip to Cabo single and came back single, still on her journey to find love, which is why she agreed to go on ‘The Bachelor’ a month or so later.”

      See also…

“Any photographs or text messages mentioned are taken out of context and a misrepresentation of the circumstances,” her representative further detailed. “Ultimately, Sarah left ‘The Bachelor due the deteriorating health of her father and the awful treatment she received from the other cast members, not due to a purported relationship with Ben.”
The clarifying statement came after “steamy pictures” of Sarah and Ben during their vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico circulated online. In one of some photos obtained by The Sun, the broadcast journalist was seen kissing the tattooed DJ as he placed his hand on her thigh.
Sarah left “The Bachelor” after having tense arguments with other contestants. They were displeased by her action of crashing a group date between Matt and Katie Thurston due to her issue with “jealousy.” Although she had apologized for it, they didn’t seem to accept her apology easily.
Hours after she left the show, Sarah appeared to throw shade at her former fellow contestant, Victoria Larson. Making use of Instagram on Monday, January 18, she posted a note that read, “Real queens fix each other’s crowns.” She might have referred the quote to Victoria who has dubbed herself “the Queen.”

'The Bachelor' Recap: New Women Arrive, One of Them Is Accused of Being an Escort

    ABC

Meanwhile, Katie approaches Matt James and has decided to tell him about the bullying going on in the house, saying that ‘the house just needs to be better’ and ‘it’s just a toxic environment.’

    Jan 26, 2021
AceShowbiz – The competition to win Matt James’ heart in his season of “The Bachelor” is not getting easier. Four weeks into the journey, ABC producers decided to bring new women to the show. Prior to their arrival, viewers saw how things were going following Sarah’s self-elimination.
While Matt didn’t cancel the group date, the women only got an after-party without a day date. He then had a private moment with Chelsea, who shared with him her own experience of being the only black girl among her friends. “I had chemically straightened my hair since I was 2 years old. All my friends were white, my school was white,” she said. “It’s definitely a unique experience that Black women have with their hair. So when I finally decided to share it, it was such an emotionally freeing experience.” Matt gave her a rose.
Meanwhile, Victoria and Katie had an argument at the house. “I think it’s rude the way you speak to me. I think you are a b***h,” Victoria told Katie. The latter then clapped back, “If you’re going to be rude to someone, especially someone who’s not here, I’m going to call you out. I think it’s unnecessary.”
Later at the cocktail part prior to the rose ceremony, Matt sat down with Pieper and Kit as he tried to get to know them better. He also had a great conversation with Bri. When Matt walked outside with Victoria, they were interrupted by host Chris Harrison. That was when he told the Bachelor that “there are some more incredible women that are dying to meet you, and want a shot at falling in love with you. They’re arriving right now.”
The first woman to arrive was Brittany, who didn’t waste her time to make out with Matt. Victoria wasn’t a fan of her and called her a “back-up.” Following her up were Michelle, Ryan, Kim and pagean queen Catalina, the latter of which came with a crown on her head. But then Victoria said, “I’m Victoria, like the queen, and I think I should have that crown actually,” before removing the crown from Catalina’s head and putting it on her own.
It was time for Matt to hand out the roses. He gave the roses to MJ, Pieper and Bri. Maggie and newbie Michelle also received the roses. Also getting the roses were Marie, Ryan, Kit, Serena C, Abigail, Katie and Victoria. Anna was both angry and nervous as Matt handed out the roses to Lauren, Brittany and Jennesia. There were two roses left and they were for Anna and Catalina. That meant Khaylah, Kaili and newcomer Kim were eliminated.

The next day, former “The Bachelor” star Ben Higgins came to visit Matt. He joined Matt and some women in a group date in which they had to do an obstacle course, including kayaking through a lake in giant pumpkins. Later at the night portion of the date, Matt and Anna sat down together but Brittany interrupted them midway. “It’s just… disrespectful. I know some dirt on you,” Anna said in confessional.
Later, Anna alluded that Brittany was an escort girl. “She may be having a transactional relationship with wealthy men,” so she told Victoria. She then confroted Brittany in front of everyone. “Brittany, I really want to talk to you. We’re all fighting for the same man, so I just want to make sure your intentions are pure,” Anna said “Coming into this, I was actually getting messages from people in Chicago and them just saying, ‘Watch out for this girl,’ that you’re an escort and all this stuff.”
“Wait, you were telling people in the house that?” Brittany asked. Anna responded, I think that’s an awful thing to say about someone, and I want to apologize, but also want to give you the space if you want to talk about why people were sending warnings about you when I literally have never met you.”
Denying the accusation, Brittany said, “I’m not an escort. It’s just so ridiculous to say that. To have that come out of my mouth… I’ve had a boyfriend my entire like… since I was 16. Making a conclusion about me before you even get to know me, that’s sh**ty. I don’t know. It just makes me — I just feel like everyone’s against me right now. I know you guys don’t care at all, but it’s really hard.”
Meanwhile, Matt and Michelle had a one-on-one date where they enjoyed riding a hot air balloon. “Today’s been incredible. I’m just up there, vibing with Michelle. It’s something about her presence, it puts me at ease. It feels like I’ve known her for a long time,” Matt said of his date with Michelle. Eventually, Matt handed out the rose to Michelle.
The next day, the women had a group boxing date with Matt. When Katie spotted Matt outside, she approached him and told him about the bullying in the house. “The house just needs to be better. It’s just a toxic environment,” she told Matt, adding that rumors could “ruin someone’s life.” She continued, “I just figured tomorrow… you could address it. Coming from you, I think it would mean a lot more to them.” It seems like Matt will take an action in next week’s episode.

    Most Dramatic 'Bachelor' Self-Eliminations

Some contestants make a self-exit because they want to pursue love with others, while some others decide to remove themselves from the competition for a touching reason.

    Jan 24, 2021
AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor” franchise is no stranger in offering drama, including contestants deciding to back off from the competition. Sarah Trott did the same in the latest episode of Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor” but obviously she wasn’t the first who dramatically self-eliminated herself on the ABC dating competition franchise.
Some contestants decided to leave the show voluntarily after beefing with the leading lady or the leading man. Others made a self-exit because they wanted to pursue love with others, while some of the contestants removed themselves from the competition for a touching reason.
Here are some dramatic self-eliminations throughout the seasons of “The Bachelor”, “The Bachelorette” and its spin-off series.

    1. Heather Martin
    ABC/Rick Rowell

Heather Martin was so close to winning Colton Underwood’s heart when she had a change of heart and decided to self-eliminate herself when appearing in season 23 of “The Bachelor”. Just prior to the hometown dates, Heather felt she wasn’t comfortable introducing him to her family at hometown dates.
She decided to leave during a group date and rode away in a train, marking the third contestant in a row to voluntarily exit Colton’s season. Ironically, Heather crashed Matt James’ season this year, much to everyone’s surprise.

    2. Luke Stone
    ABC/John Fleenor

Tension among contestants was unavoidable on the franchise but the feud between Luke Stone and Luke Parker from Hannah Brown’s season on “The Bachelorette” was probably the biggest one. They got into an altercation on the rugby field as Luke Stone accused the other of throwing him to the ground for no reason.
Further making it complicated, Luke Parker told Hannah that Luke Stone wasn’t there for the right reasons. That was apparently the last straw for Luke Stone as she then pulled Hannah aside right before a rose ceremony to tell him that he had no longer intention to stay in the competition.

    3. Jacqueline Trumbull
    ABC

Jacqueline Trumbull was among the ladies who were competing for Arie Luyendyk’s heart in his season of “The Bachelor”. However, as soon as she realized that their futures weren’t aligned, the 26-year-old research coordinator decided to remove herself from the competition.
She told Arie that she planned to attend grad school and the thought of ending up in Scottsdale with Arie would make that hard. “I think I had this moment of doubt on our date. There have been these swirling doubts since then, and I’m worried I’m going to end up in Scottsdale with you, married wondering how did we get here, because we didn’t have the base or foundation,” she said. “I just know there are women here who are completely confident, and I don’t know how to stay when that’s the case.”

    4. Brendan Morais
    ABC/Craig Sjodin

Brendan Morais failed to move on from his past despite having a strong connection with “The Bachelorette” star Tayshia Adams as they bonded being young divorcees. He even convinced Tayshia and that he could be “the one” for him, enough for her to keep him until the finale.
However, when the two visited famed ring designer Neil Lane for their possible engagament ring, Brendan looked visibly nervous. He also admitted that he was unable to “give all of himself” to Tayshia and their relationship. He left the show, breaking Tayshia’s heart into pieces.

    5. Jason Foster
    ABC

Clare Crawley’s season of “The Bachelorette” was indeed one of a kind. She exited the show only after five episodes as she found love in now-ex Dale Moss. Tayshia Adams then stepped in to replace her, but apparently Jason Foster wasn’t in for the change.
Jason, who had a one-on-one with Clare, was too attached to Clare and claimed that he was in love with her. He couldn’t easily erase his feelings for her to start pining over Tayshia. After a day-long contemplation, Jason decided to leave the show.

    6. Danielle Maltby
    ABC

Danielle Maltby left “Bachelor in Paradise” season 4 in 2017, but no one could be mad to her. The nurse left the show for the most honorable reason, which was to provide medical care for children in Kenya.
Danielle, who used to appear in Nick Viall’s season of “The Bachelor”, didn’t seem to be feeling herself on “Bachelor in Paradise”. When she was given the opportunity to work as a pediatric nurse in Kenya for a few weeks, she quickly chose to grab it and leave the show. Wells Adams, the show’s bartender and former star, walked her out and dramatically kissed her, saying, “If anyone deserved to find someone here, it was you.”

    7. Brady Toops
    ABC/Craig Sjodin

Brady Toops was among the suitors for Kaitlyn Bristowe in her season of “The Bachelorette”. However, he decided to leave the show to pursue a relationship with “Bachelorette” hopeful Britt Nilsson. The Los Angeles-based waitress and the musician from Tennessee did date for a few weeks after he exited the show before calling it quits.
“Everything on paper was perfect. But we didn’t have that connection I was looking for. That was a hard conclusion,” Britt told PEOPLE at the time. “That was pretty painful for us both, actually. It was the weirdest situation. I’ve never had to watch an expired relationship play out on TV!”

Something was bothering wrestler Kenny King when he appeared in Lindsay Rachel’s season of “The Bachelorette”. The athlete admitted that he missed his daughter so much that he decided to remove himself from the show. “There’s nothing that calls you to question more what you’re doing than being away from your child,” he said.
He then approached Lindsay to reveal his feelings. “I’m just not necessarily 100 percent comfortable in where we’re at. I just don’t know if our relationship has grown in the ways I would have liked it to have grown,” he told her. Lindsay understood him and she sent him home after bidding farewell with a warm hug.

    9. Ian Thomson
    ABC

Ian Thomson left Kaitlyn Bristowe’s “The Bachelorette” season 11, not before he insulted her. He left the show after accusing the Bachelorette of being on the show to “make out with dudes on TV.” He also called her a “surface-level person.”
The L.A.-based executive recruiter, however, appeared to show remorse on “Men Tell All” special. “I’m sorry to America, and I’m sorry to people in the audience that were offended by things that I said, because that’s not a representation of who I am. And I’m really sorry and I really apologize,” he said.

    10. Cassie Randolph
    ABC

Cassie Randolph was in huge dilemma when she was in Colton Underwood’s season of “The Bachelor”. Prior to the Fantasy Suites, Cassie, who had been saying that she wasn’t ready for marriage, was trying to figure out she was actually in love with Colton or not. Her father later came from Portugal, telling her that he hadn’t given Colton his blessing and that was when her decision was made.
Colton tried to convince Cassie to stay but it was to no avail. He was so upset that he hopped over a fence for some time to think about his next move. They ended up being together for some time before ending their relationship in a nasty split. Cassie accused Colton of stalking and harrassment.

    11. Ben Higgins
    ABC

Ben Higgins was among the cast of “Bachelor Winter Games” back in 2018. However, it appeared that he wasn’t ready for a new relationship following his split from Lauren Bushnell.
“My fear is not entering into a relationship,” Ben told host Chris Harrison. “My fear is not [of] pursuing somebody. My fear is that if I was to be broken again, I’m not full enough right now to recover from that.”

    12. Madison Prewett
    ABC

Madison Prewett made an unpredecented move during the finale of Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor”. After giving Peter an ultimatum for “being intimate” with other women during Fantasy Suites in addition to a disastrous meeting with the Weber family in the Australia outback, she was walking away, leaving Peter with just one contestant.
Eventually, Peter proposed to the only remaining finalist, Hannah Ann, though he broke it off with her after some weeks, telling her that his heart was split into two. After he ended his engagement to Hannah, he met up with Madison and they decided to start anew.
