    ABC/John Fleenor

The new spin-off of the long-running ABC dating show features 20 contestants, consisting of 12 men and 8 women, trying to find love through their shared love of music.
    Apr 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart” premiered on Monday, April 13. The new spin-off of the long-running ABC dating show featured contestants trying to find love through their shared love of music. In the first episode, 20 contestants, including marine vet Brandon, Bri, Sheridan and Bekah, arrived at the mansion.
Also among the contestants were Gabe, Savannah, former “American Idol” contestant Trevor and Jamie. Jamie and Ryan appeared to have a clear connection at first before Jamie started spending time together with Trevor once he arrived. Meanwhile, Matt and Rudi seemed to have hit it off, but he later admitted that he was into Mel.
After all 20 contestants gathered around, host Chris Harrison noted that there were 12 men and 8 women. Those who had no partner by the first rose ceremony would be eliminated. Sheridan and Julia looked like they settled with each other. However, Brandon appeared to set his eyes on Julia also and they made out. Also having some steamy moments was Jamie, who kissed Ryan before getting physical with Trevor in the hot tub.
During the first date, Ryan took Jamie on a date to Capitol Records. They got to record a version of John Mayer’s “Gravity”. The date went well as the pair made out at sunset.
Later, Matt got the second date card and he picked to go with Mel, which made Rudi upset. The two went to attend a private Plain White T’s concert. At the cocktail party, viewers could see that some solid couples were formed. Among them were Chris and Bri, Brandon and Savannah and Danny and Bekah. Sheridan, meanwhile, interrupted Julia and Josh’s makeout session as he pulled Julia aside to sing her a song. She liked it and then they kissed.
Rudi then called out Matt for not taking her on a date despite his promise. As for Trevor, he and Jamie further got smitten with each other as he sang “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” for her.
Now the moment that everyone looked forward to had come. At the rose ceremony, Savannah gave her rose to Brandon, Mel gave hers to Gabe and Bekah gave her rose to Danny. Chris received a rose from Chris with Cheyenne giving hers to Matt. Julia, meanwhile, picked Sheridan and Jamie chose Trevor over Ryan. However, Ryan was saved as Rudi gave him a rose.

Lady GaGa and Bradley Cooper's Movie Romance Inspires New Dating Show

    Warner Bros. Pictures

The onscreen sizzling relationship between the ‘Poker Face’ singer and her ‘A Star Is Born’ love interest has sparked inspirations for a new dating show.
    Apr 13, 2020
AceShowbiz – Lady GaGa and Bradley Cooper’s movie romance “A Star Is Born” inspired the new “The Bachelor” TV spin-off, according to the show’s longtime host Chris Harrison.
The brains behind “The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart”, which begins on Monday, April 13, 2020, came up with the idea while watching Gaga and Cooper’s performance at the Oscars in 2019, and now Harrison wants the “Poker Face” star to appear on the new dating show.
“She was the inspiration for this show,” Harrison tells Us Weekly. “I mean, A Star Is Born, Gaga, Bradley Cooper that moment at the Oscars, when I thought they were just going to have sex on stage. Could we create that kind of chemistry? Could we do that with The Bachelor?”
The new programme features 20 single musicians looking for love. “All these musicians come from crazy walks of life,” Harrison adds. “Some people have been grinding at this for forever. (There’s) one of the guys that was just on American Idol, someone came out of their church choir, musical theatre, you name it. They all want that relationship.”

'The Bachelor': Peter Weber and Madison Prewett Split 2 Days After Finale

    ABC

Writing on Instagram, Peter also gives a shout-out to Hannah Ann, whom he was briefly engaged to before dating Madison, saying that she sets ‘an example for women everywhere a couple nights ago.’
    Mar 13, 2020
AceShowbiz – Peter Weber and Madison Prewett’s romance apparently only lastsed for two days. After reuniting live on stage for “After the Final Rose” on Wednesday, March 11, the pair have announced that they decided to go separate ways.
Peter shared the decision on Thursday, March 12 in a lengthy Instagram post. “I want to start by acknowledging the incredible group of women that I had the privilege of getting to know this season,” the pilot began writing. “Thank you for coming on this journey with me. I learned so many lessons from all of you that I will carry with me.”
Thanking Madison for her “patience and unconditional love,” Peter continued, ” You’re the epitome of a woman who carries herself with grace, stands by what she believes in, and loves whole heartedly. That love is something I feel so grateful to have felt and will take a piece of that with me always going forward.”
He then announced that “Madi and I have mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further. Believe me this was not easy for either of us to be ok with, but after a lot of honest conversations, we have agreed that this is what makes most sense for the two of us. The love and respect I have for Madi will continue to endure.”
Peter also gave a shout-out to Hannah Ann, whom he was briefly engaged to before dating Madison. “Hannah Ann, you set an example for women everywhere a couple nights ago,” he wrote. “You are such a strong, confident woman and you deserve all the love in the world.”
He went to say that he accepted “full responsibility for my mistakes in our relationship and wish you only the best. This has been an emotional experience and I am so grateful for the outreach of support that I have received from friends, family, and Bachelor Nation in the last few days. Thank you to all of you! This is just a another chapter in my story. One I will never forget and one I will always cherish.”

Peter was initially engaged to Hannah Ann, the only finalist in his season after Madison left the show prior to the final Rose Ceremony. However, it didn’t last long because Peter realized that his heart was with Madison and broke off his engagement to Hannah Ann. After reuniting with Madison in the live broadcast of “After the Final Rose”, he decided to keep on pursuing love for Madison despite his mom’s objection.

'Bachelor' Finale Part 2 Recap: Peter Weber Finally Picks His Lady Despite Tension

    ABC

The Tuesday, March 10 episode of the long-running ABC dating show picked up with the pilot on the day of the final rose ceremony following Madison’s departure.
    Mar 11, 2020
AceShowbiz – The second part of Peter Weber’s “The Bachelor” season finale is finally here. Airing on Tuesday, March 10, the episode picked up with Peter on the day of the final rose ceremony. Following Madison’s departure, Peter admitted to feeling heartbroken but he believed that Hannah Ann was his true love.
He got the help of jeweler Neil Lane to prepare an engagement ring for Hannah Ann, and he opted for a massive, pear-shaped sparkler. He FaceTimed Hannah Ann’s father to ask for his blessing before he proposed to Hannah Ann and Mr. Sluss happily approved Peter.
Meanwhile, Hannah Ann was anxious because Peter previously told her that his heart pulled in “two different directions.” Peter was stressed out after host Chris Harrison told him that he wasn’t sure if Hannah Ann would be coming. However, she, who wasn’t aware with the fact that Madison left the show, eventually showed up. When Peter proposed to her, she unsurprisingly accepted. Peter’s family was also thrilled to know who Peter’s new fiancee was.
However, the happy moment didn’t last long because the couple looked awkward when Hannah Ann paid Peter a visit in Los Angeles after a month apart. As Peter admitted that his heart was still with Madison, they ended their relationship, but that wasn’t without Hannah Ann calling him out for being “selfish.”
Later in live broadcast of “After the Final Rose”, Peter and Hannah Ann came face-to-face. She wasn’t happy and felt blindsided because Peter never really told her about what happened to Madison. Additionally, Hannah revealed that she was feeling further blindsided when Peter told her he wanted to have one more conversation with his another ex Hannah Brown. She told him that he needed to be a “real man” if he really wanted to settle down with someone.
Later, fans were offered with footage of Madison in her hometown. She said she regretted everything and was willing to give Peter a second chance before heading to L.A. to reunite with Peter. Both of them said that they’re still in love with each other though they didn’t meet again after the reunion. Madison then joined them onstage.
Barbara, Peter’s mom, however, wasn’t really feeling Madison. She revealed that Madison made them wait three hours when they were in Australia and never apologized for it. “At the end of the day, it is what is it. You can’t change the past. There’s a lot that’s out of my control. I came into this journey and said I was going to be unashamed of who I am and that’s something I’ve done. I know I have love and respect for Peter, therefore, I have love and respect for Peter’s family. And I will never say another negative word about anyone or anything,” Madison responded.
Still, Barbara wasn’t happy with the fact that she didn’t want to compromise with Peter. She also said that Peter was going “to fail in order to succeed” in his relationship with Madison. Despite the tension, Peter made it clear that he’s in love with Madison and they’ll have to accept it. Peter ended up not being engaged to anyone though he’s dating Madison.

'Bachelor' Finale 1 Recap: Peter Weber Breaks Up With [SPOILER]

    ABC

In the first part of ‘The Bachelor’ season 24 finale, Peter asks his family in Australia to help him make decision which one to chose between the two remaining ladies, Hannah Ann or Madison.
    Mar 10, 2020
AceShowbiz – Fans were close to finding out how Peter Weber ended his love journey in part one of “The Bachelor” season 24 finale, which aired on Monday, March 9. He asked his family in Australia to help him make decision which one to choose between Hannah Ann or Madison.
After filling his family on the recent issues he had with Madison, they told him that they were concerned about Madison. Considering how she had such different values than him, they thought that could affect their relationship if Peter decided to be with her.
Meeting with Peter’s family first was Hannah Ann. Peter’s mom Barbara appeared to love her as she shared that she could see herself and her husband in Peter and Hannah Ann. His father also agreed that the two looked very compatible. However, Peter was still feeling conflicted because he knew that he also loved Madison.
Before bringing Madison to his parents, Peter had a talk with Madison during which she told him that she’s still hurt and frustrated because Peter got intimate with other women in the fantasy suites. Peter apologized once again and told her that he was also frustrated because of her ultimatum. Madison said that she’s “hanging on by a thread” and didn’t feel confident in their relationship.
That led Peter to beg her not to leave him. After going through a tough conversation, Madison finally met Peter’s family. She assured them that she loved Peter even though things were not easy. She also admitted that she and Peter had a lot of differences but she told them that she’s confident that they would overcome the differences.
Peter’s brother Jack then asked Peter if she would be able not to have sex until marriage should he choose Madison. Peter said that while it was such a different lifestyle as his, he was willing to compromise. After hearing his answer, Jack felt that while Hannah Ann had flaws, he saw a lot of red flags with Madison.
Barbara also confronted Madison about the difference in lifestyles with Madison defending herself. Peter eventually realized that his family wasn’t really fond of Madison. Crying, Barbara made it clear that she was all for Hannah Ann. “[Madison]’s not there for you. You have a gem [Hannah Ann] waiting for you, who is madly head over heels in love with you, and God put her there for you,” she said.
Barbara later told him to bring Hannah home, adding, “We will love her with all the love in the world. She’s a dream come true.” All the pressure, however, made Peter frustrated. At the end, Barbara told Peter that she trusted him.
During his final date with Madison, they took a romantic helicopter ride. However, how things ended far from being romantic as Madison broke up with Peter. “I just realized…it’s kind of time to surrender,” she said.
While he was “emotionally drained,” he thanked Hannah Ann for being there for him. However, Hannah Ann wasn’t convinced that Peter was as committed as she was. “I wouldn’t ever want you to do something out of any other reason than truly just choosing me — me for who I am,” Hannah Ann said. Peter told her that his heart was being pulled in two different directions.
“It hurts when I’m so sure and you’re not. That’s what hurts to hear,” Hannah Ann told Peter. “I’ve given and given and given, and I just want something in return. It’s getting to the point where it’s hard being so certain and sure of someone and not getting that in return. You seem not completely there like I am.”
Fans will see what’s next to come with Peter and Hannah Ann in the part two of the finale on March 10 at 8:00 P.M. on ABC.

'Bachelor' Recap: Peter Weber Is Devastated as One Contestant Almost Opts Out of Rose Ceremony

    ABC

Later, the pilot comes face-to-face with the ladies, whom he sent home in previous episodes, during the ‘Women Tell All’ special in which they also confront each other.
    Mar 3, 2020
AceShowbiz – The Monday, March 2 episode of “The Bachelor” saw Peter Weber reeling on his emotional conversation with Madison during their fantasy suite date, when she told him that she would be broken if he had slept with either of the other two women, Hannah Ann and Victoria F. Madison cried when Peter admitted that he was being intimate with them. They ended their date with things in their relationship completely unresolved.
Later, it was time for the next rose ceremony but Madison was nowhere to be seen. When she finally arrived, she told host Chris Harrison, “I’m not great. I was falling in love with him, and then, last night happened, and now I don’t really know.”
Peter first gave the rose to Hannah Ann who accepted. The second rose went to Madison, who also accepted it though she looked hesitated at first. That meant Victoria was sent home. “I just want you to know how real everything was for me,” Peter said to Victoria afterward. “I swear to God, Victoria. I was falling in love with you. All those feelings, everything from that last date, waking up with you that next morning and how I was expressing that…that was all so real. I just know that my heart is farther along with the two other girls.”
Victoria couldn’t hold back her tears as she drove away. “It is what it is,” she said. “It’s just sad. I was just hoping to find love. Isn’t that what anyone’s hoping for? I think the conversation he had with Madison changed everything that he felt with me. The fact that someone could sway his opinion with an ultimatum….it sucks. I just don’t want him to regret any decisions he’s made.”
Peter later came face-to-face with the eliminated ladies during the “Women Tell All” special. During the special, Alayah was confronted by everyone as she was accused of being “fake.” There was also drama between Victoria P. and Alayah who were said to be meeting through beauty pageants. The former could be seen comforting Alayah in the special despite talking bad about her hehind her back.
“You’re the FAKEST person in the house,” Savannah told Victoria. “You wanted everyone to be against her.” In no time, the ladies were screaming at each other.
Tammy, meanwhile, denied calling Kelsey “alcoholic” and “pill popper.” That didn’t satisfy Kelsey, who said while crying, “By you claiming that I’ emotionally unstable, having a mental breakdown, having alcoholic tendencies….it’s a strong accusation to make about somebody. By you putting that out there, now I’m labeled as something that I’m not. It’s also very rude to people who do go through those diseases. I’m not okay with that.”
As for most recently-eliminated Victoria F., she admitted to feeling “frustrated” with herself for pushing Peter away throughout the season. “I didn’t realize how much he cared about me,” she explained in the hot seat. “I wish I would’ve let him love me the way he wanted to sooner. I think it would’ve been a lot different.”
Later that night, Peter also shared his feelings towards the ladies. Mykenna, meanwhile, called him out for apparently giving her false hope by keeping her after the two-on-one date with Tammy only to eliminate her at the very next rose ceremony. “Going into that night, I didn’t know for sure where all the roses were going. I promise you. I wouldn’t have put you through that if I did. I wanted that night to have a couple more conversations and I’m sorry it came off that way,” Peter explained.
“The Bachelor” season 24 will air its two-night finale on March 9 and 10 on ABC.

In a new interview, host Chris Harrison opens up about producers focusing on a senior dating show following some criticism of the current ‘Bachelor’ cast’s immaturity.
    Feb 26, 2020
AceShowbiz – Everyone, young and old, indeed deserves love. “The Bachelor” recently announced a new spin-off of the show which is for seniors, aging from 65 and up who are “looking for love.”
The producers behind the popular ABC dating franchise revealed in the Monday, February 24 episode of “The Bachelor” that they currently are casting for a new spin-off focusing on senior citizens looking for love.
One producer offered more details on Instagram. “Are you entering your golden years and looking for romance? The producers of The Bachelor are looking for active and outgoing single men and women in their golden for a new exciting dating show,” so Lindsay Liles captioned a promotional picture of the planned series.

Speaking with ET’s Lauren Zima during “Roses & Rose” on Tuesday, host Chris Harrison opened up about producers focusing on a senior dating show following some criticism of the current “Bachelor” cast’s immaturity. “Yeah, this is a knee jerk reaction to that,” he admitted. “We thought instead of 20s, we’re going 60s and 70s.”
Harrison also added that fans often asked him if the franchise had plan to include senior citizens. “[They say], ‘We need love too.’ And they’re right, and so we’re going to do it,” he explained of the show. “We’re going to put this to the test.”

Harrison, however, noted that there weren’t many details to share as of now. “A lot of it is still up in the air because this is in the gestation phase. 'The Bachelor' Recap: Madison Gives Peter Weber 'Suite Ultimatum' Prior to Fantasy Suite Dates

    ABC

The new episode of the ABC dating show sees the pilot and the three women, Madison, Hannah Ann and Victoria, heading to Australia where they will spend the Fantasy Suite week.
    Feb 25, 2020
AceShowbiz – It’s finally time for the fantasy suit for Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor”. However, before they got there, the Monday, February 24 episode of the ABC show began right where things were left off last week. After pulling him aside following the rose ceremony, Madison hinted to Peter that she’s saving herself for marriage.
“Next week, if you were to sleep with somebody else, it would be really hard for me to move forward in this,” so she told Peter. That only made Peter confused and he replied, “I feel like that’s not fair to the [other] relationships [with Hannah Ann Sluss and Victoria Fuller] I have, but I don’t want to give you doubt in any way and make you feel like I think any less of what we have.”
“In no way do I want to give you an ultimatum or tell you what you can and can’t do. I hope you know that,” Madison responded. “But for me, actions speak louder than words, and I’m just really big on that.”
Later, Peter and the ladies went to Australia. The first date was between Peter and Hannah Ann. They opted to have some fun on jet skis. Peter and Hannah Ann then had a makeout session on the beach after he told her that he’s falling for her. They later decided to spend the night together in the fantasy suite.
The next date went to Victoria. Peter tried to clear things out with her as Victoria insisted to him that she didn’t “ruin relationship” like his ex Merissa Pence claimed. They fortunately agreed to put the drama in the past and enjoy their helicopter ride.
Later at night, Victoria opened up to Peter about how she was treated in a past relationship and that was why she found communication difficult. She got emotional because she was worried that she wasn’t giving Peter the answers he wanted. However, they later managed to talk it through and spent the night together in the fantasy suite.
Meanwhile in the girls’ hotel room, Madison told Hannah Ann that she wouldn’t be happy if Peter slept with someone else. Hannah Ann didn’t say much but in her confessional, she admitted that she was “really thrown off” by that because Madison should have known “what [she] was coming into” by joining “The Bachelor”.
Then it was time for a date with Madison. They climbed to the top of the talest building in the country. During the date, the two realized how much they’re in love with each other and at the night portion of the date, Madison revealed to Peter that she’s saving herself for marriage.
Peter respected her. Madison then said that while she didn’t want to be judgemental, she wasn’t willing to compromise if he slept with one or both of the other women. When peter admitted that he was intimate during his other fantasy suite dates with the other women, Madison was upset and hurt.
Peter and Madison cried together and he apologized as he didn’t want to lose Madision. It remains to be seen what would happen next as it will play out in the upcoming March 2 episode that will also feature the “Women Tell All” special.
