Caitlyn Jenner 'calls Kanye West' to say she wants to run as his Vice President

Caitlyn Jenner could soon find herself in the White House, taking former pal Donald Trump’s office.

The Olympic legend is reportedly preparing to make her presidential bid to run alongside son-in-law Kanye West as his Vice President.

Caitlyn, 70, revealed that she has text the Yeezus rapper, who is married to her step-daughter Kim Kardashian-West.

Kanye, 43, has officially started the process of running for office, filing the first two pieces of significant paperwork.

The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate confirmed her plans while out in Malibu and was approached by US tabloid, TMZ.

When quizzed by reporters, Cait said: “I texted him and said ‘Can I be your VP?’

“What a combination!”

The startled reporters later questioned Jenner on her own plans for office, with Caitlyn quipping: “We’ll see!”

Caitlyn’s announcement comes after the decathlon legend had already been seen running for VP in the animated series South Park.

A representative for Kanye has filed the first form that is required by the FEC, Form 1, the State of Organisation stating that the Kanye 2020 committee will run as the “Principal Campaign Committee” with Kanye as the main candidate.

The rapper will be running for the BDY party which he recently confirmed stood for Birthday Party as “when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday”.

Meanwhile, it was revealed yesterday that West has also filed the second FEC form, a Statement of Candidacy confirming that North West’s dad has spent more than $5000 (£3,978) on his Presidental campaign.

Kanye, who listed his official residence as Cody, Wyoming announced his presidential bid on July 4 while celebrating independence day.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future.

“I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION,” he tweeted.
