Eamonn Holmes has shared an update on his physio journey amid his chronic pain battle.
The This Morning host, 61, recently revealed his long road to recovery amid his health struggles, and he has been keeping his supportive fans updated on social media.
The Irish native made a trip to the hospital for an MRI about his chronic pain last week.
And now, Eamonn has committed to two physio sessions and cold showers every day to kickstart his recovery.
It hasn’t been an easy road for the much-loved TV star though, and taking to Twitter on Wednesday morning, Eamonn revealed that his latest physio session left him in much pain.
The This Morning star tweeted: “Physio hurt this morning …… I mean really hurt.”
“Anyway, on the plus side it certainly woke me up. See you at 10 on This Morning.”
Earlier this month, Eamonn explained that he was advised to have freezing cold showers in a bid to help with his chronic pain.
Before he got set up for work on This Morning, he told fans: “Hey, busy day so far. One hour physio at 4.30 am to get match fit for today’s #ThisMorning …. followed by the cold shower routine!
“All this will either kill me or cure me. So far, so good though, and remember I’m going to be sharing your #ChronicPain stories and advice.”
Eamonn has been in agony for some time, but only recently told fans about his ordeal.
The star has shared stories about how the pain he feels has been keeping him awake at night – leaving him exhausted and in agony.
He’s now planning to use his time on This Morning to highlight the issue of chronic pain and educate viewers.
Last week, Eamonn tweeted: “Will have a clearer picture of what’s causing my pain tomorrow but just to say folks like so many of you I’ve lived with variations of Chronic pain for years.
“Don’t allow it to stop me working and next week I’d like to be a voice for many of u & discuss the subject on @thismorning .”
