Hitmaker Britney Spears has admitted that she didn’t realise that she was chatting to Mick Jagger when she met him at the MTV Video and Music Awards.
The Oops!… I Did It Again singer took to Instagram with the admission and snaps of the encounter all those years ago.
The star wore a tiny black lace sheer mini-dress and strappy black heels in the snaps.

Brit was sat on a fold-up chair clutching a microphone and was sat next to the Rolling Stones frontman.
Mick sat on an identical chair next to the pop star and wore a black suit over the top of an orange shiny shirt with the same colour socks to match.

The hitmaker added a caption that read: “I had no idea who I was talking to!!!” and added some playful emojis.
This comes after Britney left fans baffled as she showed off her stunning gym outfit – and it was far from sweats and lycra.
Instead, the Toxic hitmaker wowed in a brown silk slip dress which barely skimmed the tops of her thighs.
The dress featured thin spaghetti straps and ruched fabric at the hem, and showed off Brit’s toned thighs as she added a pair of knee-high leather boots with a chunky heel.

Holding her phone up to the mirror to film a short video, Britney piled her blonde tresses up atop her head with wisps escaping to frame her face.
Her ensemble raised a few eyebrows, surrounded as she was by punching bags, dumbbells and weight machines.
Speaking to the camera, Britney revealed: “So, I’ve never been to the gym in high heels. So I decided to wear high heels ‘cause I saw a girl on Instagram one time, and she basically wore a formal dress on the treadmill with high heels.”

Interrupted by her hubby Sam Asghari in the background, who was rocking a much more gym-ready ensemble, Britney preened for the camera as she continued: “So, considering I’ve always had a trainer tell me what to do in the gym, I decided – and that’s my crazy husband – I decided to wear a dress to the gym to see what it feels like.
“And I really like it.”
