Ruby shares her worries about Nicky’s condition with Moira, leading to an unexpected bonding moment amidst family tension. Ruby is determined to find out who was behind the wheel during Nicky’s accident.
At the hospital, Caleb makes peace with Cain and promises to track down the driver. Charles, sensing Ethan’s struggle, leads him into the church for a heart-to-heart.
Charles is taken aback when Ethan confesses that he was driving the car during Nicky’s accident. He’s further shocked when Ethan plans to lie to the police and asks him to provide an alibi for the night of the accident.
Later, Ethan is arrested for causing Nicky’s accident, crushed to discover that his own father turned him in. Upon witnessing Ethan’s arrest, a furious Ruby deduces that he must have been the one driving Nicky’s car.
As he watches his family’s devastation at seeing Ethan taken away by the police, Charles begins to question his decision. Has he made the right choice?
Last week, Nicky and Ethan ended up in a fatal car accident. Ethan was in the driving seat when the accident occurred.
But once Ethan recovered from the accident, he did something rather twisted. Coming out of the car and seeing Nicky unconscious, he pulled Nicky out of the car and hid when he saw a car coming.
Scared of what he was going to face Ethan waited and hid to see what the passerby was about to do next. He then unexpectedly ran away from the scene.
