Paul Sinha left fans bewildered as he busted out some naughty remarks about his Chase co-stars.
The ITV star, known to millions as the Sinnerman, was attending an awards ceremony in London on Wednesday (October 9) when he made the bemusing comments. Though he may be famed for his teatime knowledge, Paul opted for something much more saucy as he made quips at the event.
Flaunting his more X-rated side, the comedian was attending the Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards, recognising accomplishments made by the LGBTQ+ community. Hosting the event, Paul was in charge of keeping attendees entertained during the course of the night.

With the venue taking place in London’s iconic Roundhouse, the red carpet was rolled out for inspiring LGBTQ+ people across the country. But while the winners may have had their moment to shine, it was Paul’s jokes that stole the show.
Addressing the crowd during one hosting segment, Paul exclaimed: “A special welcome to those of you who are in full-time employment, because you won’t have a clue who I am; so allow me to introduce myself. Yes, my name is Paul Sinha but I’m better known as The Sinnerman.”
He continued: “It’s a s**t nickname, it means nothing. I don’t mind, I feel I’ve dodged a bullet given the names of the other Chasers — The Governess, The Vixen, The Menace, The Beast and The Dark Destroyer.”
However, Paul left guests in fits of laughter when he delivered the punchline to the gag. “I’m the only Chaser who’s not named after a sex toy; I have to tell you that hours of research went into that joke.”
Donning a floral suit for the occasion, Paul then got topical as he addressed some of the scandals taking place in the world today, including the freebies debacle that has hit Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer. Looking at it through the lens of the queer community, Paul said that progress had been made, before turning the remark on its head.
“Now, if you come out of the closet as a British Asian, you receive a telegram from the Prime Minister,” he said. “It just says: ‘Can you buy me some clothes please?'”
But despite the laughs and the jokes, one quip about his former ITV co-star Phillip Schofield may have hit close to home for his bosses. Talking about meeting his husband, Paul said he was thrilled when he was able to find someone who ticked so many boxes.
“In one fell swoop I kicked into touch the triple crown of gay relationships,” he gushed. “He was younger than me, get in, he was better looking than me, get in, and his job was ITV runner.”
The joke provoked a wincing response from the crowd as the remark failed to land how it was meant to. However, Paul was quick to remedy the situation, explaining that it was a lie and that he was instead a trainee solicitor.
