The Traitors is reaching its thrilling conclusion, with just five players left in the running to win tens of thousands of pounds.
In tense scenes that aired on Wednesday and Thursday night (January 24 and 25), Ross was recruited to join the Traitors and BBC viewers were amazed at the prospect of Ross being able to avenge his mum Diane’s murder at the hands of the Traitors. However, despite their desperation at seeing the Traitors get their comeuppance, things did not turn out that way.
Ross was eventually banished from the castle during Wednesday night’s Round Table after attempting to throw fellow Traitor Andrew under the bus. He also faced intense scrutiny during the debate by Zack, who was determined to prove that Ross was a Traitor.

As Ross received the most votes, he revealed he was a Traitor, leading to the remaining players erupting in joy. With nothing else left to say, Ross also broke the news that he was in fact Diane’s son.
“I will just leave you with one little Easter egg before I go,” he said before leaving the castle. “I was actually the son of someone in this game… and that person was Diane.”
The remaining players in the game were floored at the admission, including Zack. However, fans were dismayed as Ross’ grand plan to avenge Diane’s murder was stopped before it even got underway and pinned the blame on the parliamentary adviser.
On Thursday, Zack took to Twitter to formally apologise for ending the plot to take the Traitors down from the inside. He wrote to his fans: “Sorry I ruined the Diane revenge arc Twitter – I know you were gagging for it, believe me I’m just as upset as you are.”
However, Zack’s intense line of questioning would come back to bite him in Thursday night’s episode as he became the final Faithful to be murdered. He went out alongside Jasmine, who was banished from the castle after raising suspicion that she was a Traitor.
As a result, just five players remain in contention to win the prize fund, which currently stands at just over £75,000. The final episode will see the players grapple to decide to end the game – and with two Traitors still in with a shot, it is up to remaining Faithfuls Jaz, Evie and Mollie to work out that Andrew and Harry are out to steal the money from under their noses.
The Traitors final airs tonight (Friday, January 26) at 9pm on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
