Corrie fans gobsmacked as Seb invites ex-girlfriend to move in with him and Emma

Coronation Street fans were baffled after Seb Franklin invited his ex-girlfriend to move in with him while his current squeeze Emma Brooker was standing next to him.

His former love was moving to the cobbles, and he offered her a room with him and Emma so she’d have somewhere to stay.

Viewers were gobsmacked and thought it was highly inappropriate to make such an offer when his girlfriend was standing right there.

They flocked to Twitter, flooding the social media platform with tweets of disgust.

One tweeted saying: “Wtf Seb offering your ex-girlfriend a room in the flat!”

While another wrote: “Seb inviting Alina to live with him and Emma?!?! WTF?!”

“Is Seb serious? Inviting his ex to move into his girlfriend’s flat? Emma deserves better than that c***”

Back in their flat, Seb asked Emma what she thought of his ex moving in with them.

She said: “As long as you don’t feel awkward living with your new girlfriend and ex-girlfriend.”

Actress Ruxandra Porojnico returned to the soap as Alina Pop, following last year’s human trafficking storyline.

She was last seen before Christmas looking for her ex-beau Seb.

Ruxandra spoke to Daily Star Online about her return.

She revealed there might be tensions caused between Seb and Emma due to the character’s comeback.

The actress said that Alina “definitely” still has feelings for Seb, adding: “That was the main reason she came back.

“Emma knows they were together and had feelings for each other, so there’s going to be a bit of tension between them, even though they are three good people, good characters. The tension will be there.”

Coronation Street continues tomorrow at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV
