Coleen Rooney is said to be “disappointed” that Rebekah Vardy is dragging their ongoing feud to the High Court.
Rebekah, who is married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, has filed a lawsuit against Coleen following claims that her account had continually leaked stories to the media about her fellow WAG.
Becky, 38, has denied leaking the fake stories that Coleen, 34, posted on her private Instagram account and has since said that the stress following the public bust-up has caused her severe anxiety attacks.
The pair are set to go head-to-head, despite Coleen offering to meet Rebekah for peace talks.

Mrs Rooney’s lawyer, Paul Lunt of Brabners said: “It is disappointing that Mrs Vardy has chosen to issue court proceedings.
“Coleen feels that the time and money involved could be put to better use; her offer to meet face to face still stands.
“Mrs Vardy’s decision to issue court proceedings does at least mean that Coleen’s evidence can be made public when the time is right.”

Last year, Coleen took to her social media pages to reveal that over five months she had dropped fake stories in order to find out who was leaking them to the media.
One story claimed Coleen “narrowly avoided injury” in a car accident, something she later claimed was false.

Wayne Rooney’s wife said: “The car crash story was completely wrong. Someone on my private Instagram has seen the picture and is telling or selling stories to a certain newspaper.”
She also revealed that the story about the basement flooding in her new mansion was false, along with flying to Mexico for gender selection treatment.
During the time Coleen claims she planted false stories, Rebekah said several third parties had access to her Instagram account and forensic experts were working to discover who leaked the stories.
The case which is set to be heard later on in the year will be one of the most explosive celebrity feuds heard in London’s High Court.
