Since the much loved series of MTV Cribs came to a close, it’s not often that celebrities will welcome camera crews into their homes, however Cara Delevingne did just that recently.
The catwalk model opened the doors to her humble Mad Hatter inspired abode to Architectural Digest, allowing people from across the globe to admirer her creativity.
In her home which she described in the video as her “adult playhouse” some very unusual characteristics are unveiled.
Another key feature of the 29-year-old’s living quarters is a secret passageway that the Suicide Squad actress uses to feel “re-birthed” every now and then.
Here, Daily Star takes a look inside Cara Delevingne’s eccentric home.
Vagina Tunnel
With the help of architect Nicolò Bini of Line Architecture, Cara has set out to create her own Alice in Wonderland themed pad.
The wacky and extraordinary design also features a huge vagina tunnel, which is described as “a secret passageway concealed behind a low, painted panel, which leads from the living room to an adjacent bunk room.”
With an array of pink materials including a padded door and feathers around the opening, Cara demonstrated it’s purpose in the video segment.
The magazine reads: “One enters the so-called rebirth canal through a vulval soft sculpture (think Judy Chicago on acid) and then proceeds to crawl out of a round washing-machine door suggestive of a rectum.”
Cara adds in the video segment: “I come in here to think, I come in here to create. I feel inspired in the vagina tunnel before trying it out on camera.
The model shows “where this lovely labia leads” before appearing via what appeared to be a washing machine door and telling fans she felt “re-birthed an cleansed”.
Massive ball-pit
The “adult playhouse” includes a gigantic ball-pit fit for a queen which helps to star to maintain her “childlike innocence”.
Speaking about the area covered in a sea of white and red balls, Cara explained: “The meaning I have from this house is just never grow up, you know?”
“Always kind of maintain some sort of childlike innocence or joy or just the need for fun. They’re really great for stress. You can’t cry in a ball pit. I’ve tried.”
Preparing for every eventuality the Hugh Hefner inspired fun area boasts a costume cupboard, a pool table, and a poker tent.
Contemporary living room
As Cara’s home is so big, she uses a scooter to move around and because the hard floor hurts her feet.
The sitting area had been designed to remind Cara of her home country England.
She’s opted for a Chesterfield sofa, a massive diamond chandelier and many plants scattered all over, giving off a jungle-like feel.
It screams expensive but also appears to be very homely and comforting.
Commenting on the striking feature light, Cara explained it was one of her “favourite pieces in the room”.
Before adding: “It reminds me of being in England.”
A striking see-through piano
Another interesting touch is a grand see-through piano which Cara explains she liked to play naked.
Perching at the instrument, she began to play a tunes on the Wurlitzer.
The striking piano holds a hefty price tag and is believed to cost anything from $20,000.
In the VT the British star revealed that she wanted every room to have a different feel and she certainly achieved the Beverly Hills hotel vibe with expensive item.
LA pool
Outside, is no ordinary backyard and of course by Cara’s standard’s we always knew it was going to be some kind of extravaganza as we step into the unknown.
On the tour, she stepped out into her garden which was taken over by a massive pool that included many floatable objects such as a rainbow and a fun unicorn.
The pool area was surrounded by a number of luxurious sun loungers to ensure the star can enjoy some ultimate relaxation time when chilling at home.
Ensuring complete privacy, the area was encompassed by masses of overgrown green trees that gave it a secluded feel.
The boudoir
The main bedroom is like stepping into Aladdin’s cave, with the huge bed boasting an array of deep purple material and gold trimmings and accessories scattered about.
Much like the tunnel, the bedroom also features a number of vagina scatter cushions and flowers that the model proudly flashes to camera.
The actress adds: “Every time I walk in here I feel calm.
“We also have these lovely bouquet vagina flowers, It’s vagina appreciation.”
