Love Island boys were given an unexpected treat on Wednesday after producers allowed them to have a lads day out, leaving the girls at home to to take care of the kids.
The islanders were designated the challenge of taking care of six babies in their couples, but understandably they were all finding it rather tough – with the girls struggling more than the boys.
While getting to grips with caring for their babies, Toby received a text which read: “Boys. It’s time for the girls to have some mother and baby time whilst you head out of the Villa to take a break.”
To the girls disappointment, the boys made they way out of the villa and headed to a golf course.
Viewers shared their reaction of the boys leaving the villa on Twitter.
One fan said: “Love how it used to be the boys left with the babies now it’s the girls.”
While another said: “The producers making the boys go on a dad holidays so it would force the girls to actually participate.”
A third viewer shared their opinion on the lads day trip too and commented: “Not the boys first having a lads holiday in Casa Amor and now on a dad’s holiday whilst the girls are left in the villa looking after the babies.”
While outside the villa, the boys were treated to a spot of golf.
But once they were finished the boys discussed their family plans and spoke openly about how many children they longed to have in the future.
Tyler said: “I’ve always said I wanted two [kids] – a boy and a girl.”
While Aaron mentioned: “I want a big family so maybe three or four! I’m going to have to get to work pretty soon.”
Jake Cornish also spoke about his relationship with Liberty Poole and said: “Bumps in the road bring you closer and once you come out the other side. We’re going onwards and upwards and I couldn’t ask for more.”
Reflecting on his journey with Faye Winter, Teddy Soares explained: “Everyday waking up we’ve got smiles on our faces.
“I couldn’t ask for a better woman to start this journey and continue this journey with. I’m excited, boys. I haven’t felt like this in a while.”
Later on in the programme, the couples were faced with a dumping, as viewers had been voting for their favourite islanders the day before.
Sadly for Mary Bedford and Aaron Simpson they received the fewest voted and were dumped from the island.
Love Island continues Thursday on ITV at 9pm
