Love Island fans say they were forced to block Hugo on TikTok after 'cringe' videos

Love Island ‘s Hugo Hammond has been incredibly active on TikTok since he returned from Love Island, with question and answer sessions, dances and poking fun at his time in the villa.

Many viewers have been commenting to laugh at his clips as some people have claimed it “sounds like parents evening”, which Hugo took on board and changed his tune.

However, it seems he might have taken things a little too far with his latest clip and now many viewers have said they need to block him.

A famous TikTok trend is dancing along to the @usimmango trend, which sees a group of guys slowly moving to a beat, with many TikTok stars using the green screen tool to add themselves to it.

Hugo has divided opinion due to his TikTok videos

As Hugo took part, he captioned the clip: “Not me getting a free six week all inclusive lads holiday in the villa”, and danced along to the beat.

He wrote alongside his post that he was joking, adding: “I gave it my all for love!”, but his words were not what got people talking, but it was his rhythm and the general video.

As the clip went viral on Twitter alongside its TikTok success, one user wrote: “He wasn’t even in time, he had multiple attempts at filming this, and this was his final attempt.”

Another user wrote: “Please I blocked him on TikTok and you brought him to Twitter? Have manners.”

A third person said: “If you thought Hugo was cringe in Love Island he’s 1000x worse when he’s popping up on my TikTok for you page.”

Luckily Hugo didn’t seem to mind people poking fun at him, as one person commented on his video: “Hugo darling… never do that again,” but he immediately responded: “A bit stiff, should’ve stretched. My bad.”

In another video, Hugo poked fun at all the girls who made moves to him in the villa, with the “You want me – no, you want me, I want you baby!” sound.

He threw a subtle swipe at Sharon, AJ and Georgia who all attempted to couple up with Hugo, before singing “I want you baby!” at ‘Friend Island’.

Whether you’re a fan of Hugo’s TikToks or not, he is cracking his followers up with his videos, and for those who aren’t a fan, the teacher is owning it.
