Strictly Come Dancing champion Rose Ayling-Ellis proved she hasn’t forgotten her newfound skills already as she performed a difficult move with her brother.
The 2021 Glitterball Trophy winner showed off her dance prowess for her fans on Instagram during a wintry day at the beach.
Rose, 27, put her brother Jacob to the test as her new dance partner and he didn’t disappoint with his delivery of a very difficult lift.
The EastEnders actress – best known as Albert Square’s Frankie Lewis – adapted the expert skills she learned from Strictly professional partner Giovanni Pernice as she crafted the pose with her sibling.
Captioning the image she wrote: “Strictly you’re still not out of my system.”
Despite no longer being her teacher, Giovanni was quick to congratulate Rose on the display as he gave words of encouragement in the comments section.
The 31-year-old professional dancer posted: “Well done!!!!” backing up his reaction with a series of heart-eye emojis.
Rose and Giovanni pipped fellow Strictly Come Dancing 2021 finalists John Whaite and Johannes Radebe to the post as they picked up the Glitterball Trophy and were crowned winners of the series earlier this month.
The final contestants were cut to just two couples when AJ Odudu and her partner Kai Widdrington had to drop out of the competition at the last minute when she sustained a nasty ankle injury during training for their show dance.
Rose made history by becoming the first-ever deaf contestant to win the show.
At the time visibly emotional Giovanni heaped praise on the star as he said: “Incredible, incredible. I have to say thank you to this beautiful young lady who made all my dreams come true.
“You became the best dancer, the best teammate I could ask for. You are a dream Rose, you really are a dream. So thank you for everything, thank you!”
