Singer Camilla Kerslake welcomes baby boy with rugby star husband Chris Robshaw

Classical singer Camilla Kerslake has given birth to a baby boy with rugby star Chris Robshaw.

The 32-year-old shared a sweet picture on social media to welcome the bundle of joy with former England captain Chris, 34.

The cute post, which was shared by both new parents, saw their hands form a heart shape around their baby’s tiny feet.

Camilla told her fans alongside the black and white photograph: “Welcome to the world little man.

“We are so, so in love with you.”

Chris wrote that he was “so proud” of Camilla for being an “absolute warrior” in labour and delivering their son.

“So proud of @camillakerslake who was an absolute warrior throughout. We couldn’t be happier & more in love with our little one,” he wrote.

The pair announced they were set to become first-time parents back in February, two years after tieing the knot in June 2018.

Chris and Camilla, who were engaged for three years before they got married, announced the baby was due in May but chose not to disclose a gender.

The couple told Hello! magazine they had begun trying to get pregnant during the pandemic as their job commitments slowed down due to Covid-19.

Camilla said the UK lockdown was the reason they “decided to get pregnant” in order to be “productive” as the work began drying up.

The former rugby captain said Camilla would be a “fantastic mum” and praised his wife for being “good with kids”.

The soprano said, “Chris is going to be a great dad” and that “he’s always on the go. He always wants to be running around.”

The pair relocated to America this year and settled in Las Vegas as Chris signed for Major League Rugby side San Diego Legion.

The move to Sin City came after Chris’ new team set up camp temporarily there due to the high number of Covid cases in southern California.

Chris said: “I think it’ll be cool that the baby’s birth certificate will say: ‘Born in Las Vegas’.”

The pair plan to remain in the US as a family.

The rugby star admitted he took ‘inspiration’ from Prince Harry.

The now new father said of his time with former team Harlequins: “Harry is a great guy, he’s always been very supportive.

“When he last visited, I gave him a rugby top for Archie.”

Camilla and Chris tied the knot in an intimate family ceremony in Provence, France three years ago.

They met in 2011 and sparks flew between the pair after meeting at a rugby event where Camilla was singing.
