Stacey Solomon has revealed the surname of her little boy Rex for the very first time.
Rex, 2, was recently rushed to hospital by his mum, who shares him with his dad Joe Swash, and she posted a snap of him while he lay on his hospital bed wearing his wrist band, which showed off his full name.
The wristband showed the pair opted for Rex to have a double-barrelled surname as it stated their little one was called Rex Toby Francis Solomon-Swash.
In her post, the former X Factor star also thanked the NHS for looking after her son and revealed Rex will soon be ready to go home.
She wrote: “Everything went so well. We will be back home soon.
“Thank you for your lovely kind messages. Thank you to everyone here @bhrut_nhs from giving birth here to fixing the pickles your staff and everyone who works so hard in your trust have always been so amazing.”
“And I know first hand how busy and hard worked you all are. So grateful to our NHS always and forever…
“Thank you for all that you do. You’re so incredible. And we are so lucky to have you.”
Rex was rushed to hospital after falling at home and had to have butterfly stitches to hold the cut together.
The mum told of the upsetting incident on her Instagram story, saying: “We had a nightmare yesterday, Rex fell over in the garden and we were like ‘up you get!’ and then we looked and it was not an ‘up you get’ situation.”
The Loose Woman panellist admitted to being teary eyed and feeling anxious while her youngest son underwent a surgery operation on his mouth.
Stacey also explained they would be returning for further treatment on Monday.
She said: “I’m gonna go back today and get proper stitches coz it’s in a really awkward place, but he was so good, he didn’t make a sound he was just like ‘yeah fix it’ to the doctor, he was so good.”
