She’s known for being daring with her outfit choices from hip-skimming dress to cleavage-flashing frocks.
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has been gracing the panel since the show first hit TV screens in 2007, and the TV star has made quite the impression on audiences with her bold choice of outfits.
The Heart radio presenter is regularly seen looking glamorous for the programme’s live shows, however, the mother-of-two has often found herself at the hands of a number of Ofcom complaints for some of her racier choices.
As we head into the final of the latest series of the show, we look back on some of her more controversial outfit choices for the BGT finals…
Skin-tight frock

Despite numerous complaints about her sexy outfits, Holden opted for this skin-tight sparkly number that hugged her curves back in 2020.
The flesh-coloured dress featured an asymmetric design, with off-shoulder straps, and a third strap to hold it up.
Amanda risked a serious wardrobe malfunction in the sheer dress, but carefully concealed her modesty in all the right areas.

Fans were mostly complimentary of the frock, which showcased the star’s enviable figure but wasn’t as revealing as some of her previous dresses.
One fan said: “Absolutely stunning,” and another commented, “A goddess.”
While Holden clearly made an effort to cover up after recent backlash over a previous racy outfit, some viewers demanded the star have more flesh on show.
One tweeted: “Disappointed to see Amanda Holden wearing so many clothes.”
Another said: “I was hoping Amanda Holden would have some more flesh on show…”
Someone else added: “I want to make a complaint Amanda Holden dress is not revealing enough.”
Sheer display

Amanda was seen sporting a totally sheer gown by designer Nicolas Jebran back in 2019 which featured an embroidered spiderweb across her breast.
Ofcom received nine complaints over the choice of dress, which some viewers deemed “inappropriate” for the family programme.
The amazing frock was totally see-through on one side, with the other covered in a white floral embroidered silk.

Despite the complaints, many fans rushed to compliment her on the look. “Wow wow and a little bit more wow,” one admirer penned.
Another person swooned: “Amazing dress!!!” Oooo that dress is a masterpiece,” shared a third.
Ruth Langsford commented: “Stunning.”
See-through dress

Amanda left viewers hot under the collar when she debuted this stunning gown that featured a totally see-through design on her crotch.
Amanda’s jaw-dropping dress was a see-through floor-length polka dot skirt that showed her high-waisted knickers and legs underneath.
She ramped up the sex appeal with a plunging neckline that dipped all the way down to her naval.

Some viewers were less than happy at her racy choice of attire, deeming it “unsuitable” for a “family show”.
One fan wrote: “Fantastic figure, but hmmm, family show.”
Another added: “Amanda Holden’s dress tonight… I’m sorry @AmandaHolden but this is a family show.
Other’s even said she was giving Simon Cowell a run for his money for lowest neckline.
One said: “Simon is giving Amanda a run for her money in the ‘who has the most amount of chest showing’ competition.”
Another said: “Ooh it’s the #BGT final. Simon Cowell showing as much cleavage as Amanda Holden tonight. Hashtag equality.”
Bridal glam

Fans were delighted to see that Amanda opted for a more modest look for her final outfit back in 2016, but the star still created a slew of headline with many comparing it to a wedding dress.
The lavish frock certainly had all the ingredients needed for a wedding gown.
The ivory A-line dress was adorned with the exquisite lace detail, bellowed out into a ball gown and featured. a long trail.
“Why is Amanda Holden wearing a full on wedding dress for the #BGTFinal #BGT,” asked one viewer at the time.

Plunging gown

Amanda dared to take the plunge in a stunning Julien Macdonald gown back in 2017.
The eye-popping number featured a deep plunging neckline trailing all the way down to her stomach.
Amanda risked a major wardrobe malfunction an almost exposed her entire chest, proving unpopular with viewers – who took to Ofcom to complain.
Amanda’s dress received 663 complaints over the gown – but she was left unfazed, hitting back that the complaints were “laughable”.

“But, look, I’m from a small-chest family, plus you know I’m 48 years old. It’s all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about.”
