Andrea McLean has revealed her regret that she is no longer in regular contact with her former Loose Women co-stars.
The presenter, 53, famously exited the ITV daytime series in December 2020 after 13 years.
Speaking recently, Andrea revealed that while she has retained contact with “some” of her former colleagues on the show, she is “rubbish” at keeping in regular touch.

Andrea told The Sun: “I stay in contact with some of the Loose Women ladies, in the same way that I only get to talk to some when I was there – but not hugely.
“Mainly because I’m busy, working and doing my thing.
“Brenda and I message, Denise, Linda Robson, Saira.
“I was rubbish keeping in touch when I was there and I’m just as rubbish now but what’s nice is it doesn’t matter because with your real friends it doesn’t matter if you haven’t seen each other for years.”
Months prior to her Loose Women exit, Andrea released a book called This Girl Is on Fire.
She has since launched a successful website with the same title but confirmed she was “nervous” to leave Loose Women for fear of not being able to pay her bills.
Andrea added: “I was nervous about leaving Loose Women as anyone who has become known for doing something, whether you’re a bank manager or a footballer, that’s your identity.
“Then it becomes, who am I if I am not this?
“I was worried as this was a job I had done for so long, who am I if I’m not this thing?
“I was nervous about leaving, in terms of the identity, in terms of paying the bills, but when you’re too scared to make a decision because you’re so scared of what might go wrong and it paralyses you from doing anything.”
Loose Women airs on weekdays from 12.30 pm on ITV.
