Ben Shephard in hysterics as he's shown Tipping Point clip of fans celebrating huge win

Ben Shephard was left in stitches after he watched a clip of Belfast fans celebrate St Patrick’s Day by watching Tipping Point in the pub.

During Thursday’s instalment of Good Morning Britain, entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold shared the hilarious clip of the enthusiastic fans from TikTok on the show.

In the video, drinkers could be seen on the edges of their seats as they watched the nail-biting moment the counter tipped over the ledge which saw the room erupt into celebration.

The 47-year-old passed on his well wishes to his fans over in Ireland as he explained how the group were also big fans of the ITV gameshow The Chase while he shared his thoughts on the viral clip.

As the show aired the clip of the drunken fans on the show, the dad-of-two shared the moment when he first saw the video online.

He said: “I got sent that yesterday from Danny’s TikTok account and I’m not on TikTok and someone said, ‘Ben have you watched this?’

“I think it’s a pub called the Hatfield in Belfast and all the students get together, I think they watch Tipping Point and then they watch The Chase and they have a big event.”

Tonight’s episode marked the final normal airing of the show as ITV prepares to air coverage of the Cheltenham Festival

He added: “But then what better way to celebrate a jackpot than with a pint? I think we need to go there for a pint!”

It comes after Tipping Point viewers watched the jaw-dropping moment one lucky contestant landed £1,000 in one drop.

Last week on the arcade-style game show, budding quizzer Lisa was seen doing fairly well for herself as she smashed her way to the finals with ease.

And it appeared her “lucky drop” quickly knocked out her opponent Jon after she shocked viewers at home as she raked in up to £1,000 worth of counters in the machine.

And the blonde bombshell was able to take home her £3,700 worth of winnings which she put towards a much-needed holiday to Australia to visit her sister overseas.
