Scout Willis has shared a sweet picture of herself bonding with her famous father Bruce Willis after his recent aphasia diagnosis.
The 30-year-old can be seen relaxing in an armchair, wearing brown trousers, a grey turtleneck jumper and black boots, with her father as he looked proudly at his daughter with his arm around her.
She simply wrote “Papa” in the caption and signed off with a heart emoji before she shared a statement about his illness.
Aphasia is a condition which affects the sufferers ability to communicate with others and to understand language.
Scott wrote: “Yesterday was so surreal, sharing something so personal. I didn’t know how it would be received.
“There is always an unknown when sharing out so vulnerably into the world, I’d hoped for some love and compassion.
“I truly never could have anticipated the depth and breadth of the love we received as a family yesterday.”
The Willis family recently had the tough job of announcing his retirement from acting to the world.
As one of the most iconic and recognisable actors in Hollywood, Bruce’s career has spanned an incredible four decades.
He has reportedly been dealing with the issue on set for many years and has needed the assistance of an earpiece, through which someone tells him his lines.
This was an ongoing issue before the announcement of his diagnosis.
A source has told Page Six that the decline in his abilities has been known throughout Hollywood for a while.
His family have been posting heartfelt anecdotes about their father since they announced his condition to his fans and loved ones.
Scout shared a snap of her father, pulling a silly expression as he posed shirtless for the camera, which showed off three initials above his chest that stand for his children Rumer, Scott and Tallulah.
Tallulah shared her own thanks for the tributes towards her father which read: “The exquisite outpouring of love that I am experiencing right now is just blowing me away.
“Thank you all for showing up with so much tenderness and stunning love for my daddio and my whole family.”
Willis shares three children with actress Demi Moore, with whom he was married to from 1987 to 2000.
He has a further two daughters with his wife Emma.
