EastEnders fans are convinced they’ve worked out the explosive exit storyline for Mick Carter, claiming the pub landlord will depart the show on Christmas day
Viewers of the BBC One soap have seen evil Janine Butcher frame Linda Carter for a horrific car accident which saw her induced into a coma.
Linda now faces brain damage and could lose custody of her children given that police believe she was drinking while driving.
As Linda gets set to wake up from her coma, fans predict she will fake amnesia in a bid to torment Janine and plot the ultimate revenge on her
Fans believe Linda will “get her own back on Janine in the end” and the truth will be exposed on Christmas Day and rip the Carter family apart, leading to Mick Carter’s departure.

One viewer wrote: “I can see all of this blowing up on Xmas day. Linda feigning amnesia – come Xmas day the whole secret blows up rips the Carter’s apart and then that’s how Mick might choose to leave the Square in the end.”

Meanwhile fans were left confused about whether Linda remembered the crash or not as she was seen finally waking from her coma.
She appeared to recall being in the car with Nancy before the pair had an argument, but claimed she didn’t know what happened after that.

When Mick pushes her about driving while drunk, a confused Linda tells him: “I must have.”
The entire Carter clan immediately storm out of her hospital room in disgust after learning that she most likely did drive drunk with baby Annie in the car.
“I’m confused so does Linda remember the crash or not? #eastenders,” said one viewer.

Meanwhile Janine’s plans to flee the square were put on hold after Linda appeared to forget about her involvement in the crash. Mick can be seen embracing Janine while telling her his frustrations at Linda’s behaviour. “I don’t want this, I want you,” he tells her.
