In full view of his 2.4million followers, the dad-of-three warned: “It’s going to be a long road for my little soldier” in a lengthy health update online.
“First operation down yesterday for the little man!! This 1 come around so unexpected but the op went well and he’s breathing normal now with the help of some tubes in his nose!!
“It’s going to be a long road for my little soldier but every op he has makes him that little bit better.
“We’ve got this my little sunshine, mummy and daddy and your brothers and sisters can wait to get you home.”
On Sunday (September 18), the TV star took to his Instagram Stories to update his followers on his son’s recovery since the major operation.
He revealed: “Hi everyone, I just wanted to say thank you. The messages we’ve had have been f**king unbelievable, literally unbelievable with the well wishes.
“Just shows that social media can be a positive thing after all. I’ve popped the telly on for the day so I’m in the hospital while the little man’s having a sleep.”
He went on to reveal that his son is now breathing unaided but still has tubes in his nose to open up his airways.
Aaron added: “He’s had his cannular taken out [but] he’s still got all the tubes and the air and stuff in his nose so he’s in some pain, bless him.
“But he’s having a sleep now with his mummy. Obviously it’s been a tough few days for me and Talia but all the messages of support have just picked us up in a time when we needed it.
“One operation down, the long road has begun. A little earlier than expected but the first one’s in and he’s breathing now, he’s breathing fully by himself.
“He’s got some tubes up his nose to help the breathing because the airway was blocked so thank god Talia’s mother’s instinct took over.
He concluded: “The plan is now just to get him home and get him settled and we want to go away to a little log cabin together, just me, Talia and the kids to have a fun weekend and spending some family time when we can.”
