She has played Leah Patterson-Baker on Home and Away for the past 20 years and actress Ada Nicodemou has earned the distinction of being the third-longest actor in an Australian TV soap opera.
The Greek Cypriot beauty began her career as a child star appearing as Katerina Loannou in ABC1’s Heartbreak High.
Her career has soared ever since, even landing her a role in the science fiction film The Matrix playing Dujour back in 1999.

In addition to her acting success, The 45-year-old has become well known for her age defying skin and glamorous red carpet looks.
Let’s take a look at the stunning star’s life away from Summer Bay
Age Defying Looks
Ada Nicodemou, 45, appears to have barely aged a day since her Summer Bay debut.
The actress is known for her age-defying complexion and regularly shows off her youthful looks on Instagram. Ada is also known for her gorgeous figure.
Speaking to Body and Soul magazine last year, Ada said that keeping to a schedule is key to maintaining her youthful physique.
‘Once I get my weekly schedule from work, the first thing I do is map out when I’ll exercise,’ she said.
‘I will write this into my diary and basically set a date with myself. I make sure that my exercise is a priority – that means I am a priority, too.’
‘My workouts are a time for myself, so they are very important to me and always have been,’ she added.
Ada also recently told New Idea she eats foods that are high in protein and does high-intensity workouts to stay trim and toned.
‘I like my curves, I feel like a woman and I feel more confident – which I think is also really good as a parent… I love that I’m curvy,’ she told the magazine.
On the surgery front, she has previously denied having dermal filler but has admitted to getting Botox on occasion and having breast implants.
TV Fear
Ada Nicodemou began her acting career in 1994 in the TV serial Heartbreak High as Katherine Ioannou. Now the actress has revealed she struggles to watch herself on the show in fear of embarrassment over her 16-year-old self’s acting skills.
“I just can’t watch it because I’m too scared to see what my acting was like, and my dancing as well”, she told Hughesy, Ed and Erin on the Hit Network.
Ada went on to say how great the show was and how different it was for its time. She said: “It was so groundbreaking at the time. ‘It had people who looked like me on it, and we’d never had that on Australian TV.
“It still holds up I think but I am scared to watch it.”
Red Carpet Looks
Ada turned heads when she showed off her ample cleavage in an emerald green Velani gown as she arrived for the 2022 Logie Awards.
The star looked sensational as she walked the red carpet alongside her partner Adam Rigby.
Her makeup palette included smoky eyes, black mascara and glossy nude lipstick. Ada, who was nominated this year for the Silver Logie for Most Popular Actress, wore her long brunette tresses tied up in a bun.
The six-time Logie nominee told The Daily Telegraph’s Body+Soul that she loved “every moment” of the awards show.
Ada said she realises that the average person doesn’t always get to “dress up like this”.
“I love every moment of the Logies and I always have. I’m just one of those girls who loves the excitement of picking my frock and talking about my hair and make-up every step along the way,” she gushed.
Ada debuted another stunning look when she wore a daring black mini dress with a revealing cross design on the front while attending a performance of Phantom of the Opera.
Captioning the post, she gushed: “What a show! Loved Phantom Of The Opera @operaaustralia last night, it’s nice to see it after 20 years! And I always love going to @sydneyoperahouse such a great night out.”
