I'm A Celeb star Jill Scott has 'party tricks up her sleeve' to bag Queen of the Jungle

The fiancee of I’m A Celebrity favourite Jill Scott has told how she still has “party tricks up her sleeve” which could help her be crowned queen of the jungle.

Shelly Unitt says she was not surprised campmates and viewers had taken to Jill and that she would be loving jungle life after being devoted to training and football for years.

After landing at Brisbane airport, she said: “Jill is doing really well and she has got more to come as well. She is a free person and she is getting on with everybody.

“I think because there are so many people in the camp at the moment and obviously we have got to get round to everybody but I do believe there will be a lot more she has got a few party tricks up her sleeve. I am waiting for those to come out but they will.

Jill has been winning over fans on I’m A Celebrity

“Everyone loves Jill and no one has ever ever said a bad word. She is just calm, collected, she diffuses situations if needed and she walks away. She has not got conflict with anybody she will do well.

“She has been in football 16 years, been tied down to restrictions and now being able to do something like this. It is huge and she will enjoy every minute of it.

“It is very different from seeing her playing football obviously because it is just for one hour and I haven’t seen her for such a long time but it is amazing and I think she is doing really really well. We are all rooting for her.”

Asked if it is the longest they have been apart, Shelly said it was not uncommon to be apart from the Lioness star.

She added: “Not really, Jill with her football went away with tournaments month to month but we always have contact so this has been the first time ever not speaking. So I am really missing her, I think everyone is missing her. It is a quieter home. Very quiet.

“I have got two daughters as well, Evie and Hattie and so they are missing her and bouncing around. They will watch the show.

“They are so proud of Jill and really excited. I didn’t want to leave them at first but they said ‘go go’.”

Turning to discuss Jill’s highlights on the show, Shelly added: “The best thing for me was when she fell out the hammock and I think she said something along the lines of ‘I think she fell out the hammock’ but even that first challenge that was her fear and to walk out like that.

“She comes out with some one-liners. I think sometimes it just goes with the flow of things really Jill is just being Jill and enjoying her time in the camp. I think she will keep giving to the camp because she is kind and motivated.

“I am looking forward to seeing her do a few more trials but actually she has done a few like eating eyeballs and things like that.

Shelly and Jill run the Boxx 2 Boxx coffee shop in Manchester and locals have been overwhelming in their support, as has the whole city.

Shelly said: “My goodness me, it is huge in Manchester and it is getting crazier and crazier at the Coffee Shop which is a good thing for us as a business.

There is a huge support back at home where we live. People are just coming in and asking if she is in and I am like ‘she is in the jungle’. She is getting lots and lots of support from different people, not just football so it has been great really. I think people just love Jill for Jill.

“Hot banana water is on the menu, it is ordered and everyone is going for it so we will have to see how that goes. She isn’t missing a cup of tea but a flat white she will miss, so yeah I will have that waiting for her.

“When Jill is in the shop she likes to muck in and make the drinks. We are selling Hoodies with Vote Jill and profits will go to our chosen charity.”

Asked what it would mean for Jill to win, Shelly said: “She would be grateful and humble and ecstatic but she is not in it to win.

“For me and for Jill really I don’t think it is about winning it is about the experience for Jill.”
