Katie Price's hunky wrestler ex 'to be first Gladiator star confirmed' for BBC reboot

Katie Price’s alleged ex Stuart Tomlinson has reportedly landed a spot on the reboot of Gladiators.

The hit programme from the 90s is set to grace screens once again as the retro show makes an epic comeback on BBC One 22 years since its final episode aired on ITV in 2000.

The Beeb are keeping tight-lipped over who will be taking part in the 11-episode series that is due to launch next year.

Taking to Twitter, he tweeted “Granite… #Gladiators” alongside a director’s clapper board emoji.

He also shared two topless snaps, showing off his ripped abs wearing a pair of red shorts and a matching cap.

As well as being known for being part of the WWE, Stuart’s also been romantically linked to former glamour model Katie, actress Sheridan Smith and Love Island’s Jess Shears in the past.

A source previously said that Katie and Stuart chatted through Instagram DM and she began telling him how she wanted a “protecting correct man’s man”.

A BBC spokesperson told Daily Star: “We do not comment on speculation.”

Gladiators originally ran from 1992 for an eight-year period – drawing in huge success from audiences across the globe.

Stuart is not the only Gladiator who has been connected to mother-of-five Katie in the past.

Former star Ace, whose real name is Warren Furman, recently opened up about his doomed romance with the reality TV star.

He told The Sun: “We were both equally to blame for the breakdown of our relationship.

“We were both young, we were both courting the press.

“We were very similar people, we came from working-class backgrounds and we got on very well, but the pressures of fame cursed the relationship in a lot of ways.”
