Lizzie Cundy has nothing but praise for Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall who is today (July 17) celebrating her 75th birthday.
The socialite is no stranger to the royal circle, having attended several royal events, most recently the Duchess’ birthday celebrations alongside the likes of Joanna Lumley.
Lizzie, 54, was also friends with Camilla’s daughter-in-law Meghan Markle, until the former Suits actress met Prince Harry and cut contact with her famous British pals.

But Lizzie’s connection with Camilla goes back further than her relationship with Meghan, as Prince Charles’ wife is actually a friend of the family.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, Lizzie said: “Camilla Parker Bowles is one of the most charismatic and beautiful people I have ever met.
“Luckily enough I was able to work with her on two of her charities.”
She added: “My mother knows her as lives nearby at Sandringham and they have the same group of social friends. My mum says she’s a right hoot!
“As a young girl growing up I absolutely adored Princess Diana in every way, I never thought I would ever like Camilla.
“But Camilla has shown throughout the years what a total rock she has been to Charles and the Royal Family – she is their greatest asset!”
The TalkTV star went on to say: “She has been brilliant with the boys [Prince William and Prince Harry] and such a support to Charles in every way.
“The way they look at each other, the camera cannot lie, they are still so in love and it’s thanks to Camilla he has overcome many issues and above all that she has a great sense of duty.
“Meghan Markle could learn a lot from her, you will never see Camilla moaning or complaining and she has a great sense of fun.”
Lizzie, who is considered “the original WAG”, continued: “She would never be doing an Oprah interview or selling interviews.
“When I was at the charity event, she even said ‘Are we going outside for a ciggy?’
“She was so down to earth and so much fun, she treats everyone the same from the tea lady to the chairman.
“Just everyone can relate to her, so with it being Camilla’s birthday, I salute her.
“She’s all a royal should be. Gracious, hard-working and always with a smile. She will make a great Queen.”
Earlier this year, Her Majesty The Queen issued a rare statement while celebrating her Platinum Jubilee, praising her daughter-in-law.
The Queen said: “And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me; and it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service.”
Despite becoming Queen, Camilla has expressed her desire to continue to work alongside her chosen charities.
