Former EastEnders star Joe Swash couldn’t hold back his laughter when he remembered wearing playboy pyjamas one Christmas.
Reminiscing with wife Stacey Solomon on her new BBC show, Stacey Solomon’s Crafty Christmas, the pair looked back at their matching pyjamas, a yearly effort the whole family makes for the festive season.
“Every year has a theme”, Joe started as he explained the family tradition.

“When we think back on the years we’re like ‘Is that the green year or is it the gold and black year?'” Joe continued.
Stacey reminded Joe that the ‘green’ year was last year, which caused Joe to remember his bizarre outfit.
“You had us dressed in Hugh Hefner’s satin pyjamas with our initials on the front”, Joe giggled as Stacey burst into laughter.
Stacey’s 2021 Christmas post featured her, Joe and their kids baby Rose and Rex, two, alongside Stacey’s sons Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships sat in front of their Christmas tree in their green satin pyjamas.
Posting the snap to her Instagram followers, Stacey added the caption: “Christmas At Pickle Cottage…”
“Rose was exhausted (for the first time in 3 days bless her) the boys were cracking up at joe’s massively long pyjamas, and I clearly am not a good real tree decorator,” she added.
Stacey continued: “But they’re all I need underneath my gappy tree. Cheese fest I know but there’s nothing I love more than their smiley faces and matching pjs.”
Earlier in the show, Stacey, Joe and their kids took their Christmas photo for 2022, opting for festive jumpers as opposed to PJs.
