Strictly’s Maisie Smith was hailed the “hottest thing anywhere” by boyfriend Max George in an Instagram Story promoting her musical theatre debut.
Max posted a review of Maisie’s performance as Fran, which called the “hottest new thing in musical theatre”.
The review read: “Fran is @maisiesmithofficial … surely the hottest new thing in musical theatre – stunningly good dancer, wonderful actor and a pure voice that will no doubt rival many established stars.”

Max, who isn’t shy to public profess his love for the actress, echoed the message and reposted the story, adding the message: “Hottest thing ANYWHERE .. @maisiesmithofficial”.
The Wanted singer started dating Maisie earlier this year and went Instagram official, adding each other’s names to their Instagram biography’s. The pair competed in the same series of Strictly in 2020.
Former EastEnders actress Maisie has been touring the UK with Strictly Ballroom the Musical, starring as main character Fran.
Director and Strictly judge, Craig Revel Horwood said he wanted to book Maisie for the role “before she walked out the door” after doing her audition.
Maisie stars alongside ex-Strictly pro dance partner, Kevin Clifton in the musical, and took to Instagram to share her delight at taking on the opportunity.
“GUYSSSS I’m SO excited to announce that this September I’ll be making my musical theatre debut, playing ‘Fran’ in the timeless production of Strictly Ballroom the Musical @strictlyballroomtouruk along side my great friend, and first dance partner @keviclifton”, she wrote in her caption.
Fans headed to the comments to share their excitement for Maisie’s new career move.
One wrote: Super Super Excited … I’ve booked my tickets for Feb 2023 and I cannot wait”.
“Well done, congrats. Can’t wait to see it”, a second added.
Another chimed in and said: “Well done to you and you will absolutely smash it”.
