Tipping Point Lucky Stars fans were unimpressed with the “easy” questions on Saturday’s celebrity programme – April 24.
One particular viewer even moaned that her three year old toddler had been able to respond correctly to one of Ben Shephard’s questions on the star studded show.
Some of the questions on the weekend episode included: “On a Monday what day is typically referred to as tomorrow?” and “What primary colour is a clear day time sky?”
Taking to Twitter, fans complained: “These questions are easy #tippingpoint.”
A second added: “Easy questions for Lucky Stars,” with a rolling eye emoji.
While a third penned: “I’m not saying the #tippingpoint is too easy, but that question ‘what colour is a clear daytime sky’ was answered by my 3 YO. #luckystars.”
Meanwhile the game proved to be a tense one at comedian Zoe Lyons, Apprentice adviser Nick Hewer and Coronation Street actor Joe Duttine all went head-to-head in hope of winning the jackpot of £20,000 for their chosen charities.
It proved not to be the soap star’s day as he only managed to bag £100 in the prize pot and was booted off first.
Nick Hewer, Countdown’s former gameshow host got off to a great start with an epic coin fall that saw him storm into the lead with £1,700 in the bank.
In spite of his windfall he proved to be no match for Zoe who managed to get a jaw dropping 17 counters over the edge in one sitting alone.
The comedian further lucked out when she and Alan Sugar’s sidekick were neck and neck on points with one counter left to play for.
Zoe failed to answer the question correctly, giving Nick the last silver coin to play.
His counter got lodged and failed to tip anything over the edge with the pair needing to answer a tiebreaker question to sail into the final.
Lucky Zoe was quickest on her buzzer and went through to play for her charity.
Tipping Point airs on ITV at 4pm on weekdays.
