Victoria Beckham made her Paris Fashion Week debut yesterday evening, with onlookers spotting the designer in tears at the end of the show.
It has been speculated that Victoria’s unexpected display of emotion, a stray from her usual stoic demeanour, could be related to the fact her son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife Nicola Peltz were seated in the front row.
Rumours of a rift between Victoria, 48, and Nicola, 27, have swirled around the family, with things reportedly coming to a head at the latter’s wedding to Brooklyn.

But the relationship seems to be improving, as Posh’s family were spotted cheering her on as she took to the catwalk for the finale of her show.
She was seen clasping her hands to her face after watching her Womenswear spring summer 2023 collection being modelled by the likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, in front of Vogue editor-in-chiefs, Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful.
Taking to Instagram, the Spice Girl turned designer wrote: “It’s Paris baby!! I’m so grateful for my family, @BritishVogue and @VogueMagazine for always supporting me on this journey xx VB”.
Reports claim that Victoria used the fashion show as an olive branch to her son and daughter-in-law, as a way of presenting a united front to quash negative press.
An insider told the Sun: “Victoria extended the olive branch and asked Brooklyn and Nicola to stay on in Paris and come to her show.”

They continued: It would put a stop to the rift rumours and she and the family would love to see them.
“To have him and his wife sitting front row at her first Paris show would put on a united front.”
The feud between Victoria and Nicola reportedly began over Nicola’s choice of wedding day.
She told Grazia USA earlier this year: “I was planning on wearing Victoria’s wedding dress and I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created.
“We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it.”
