A Place in the Sun viewers has branded a couple ‘time wasting t**ts’ after they revealed they were searching for their perfect home on a budget of £170,000.
Channel 4 presenter Jean Johansson was showing Jeanette and Phil a number of properties within their ‘wiggle room’ on the Greek island of Crete.
The pair, who have been together for 15 years, wanted a spacious home where their five daughters could visit with their partners and extended family.

Describing their ideal property, Jeanette said it would they “definitely need three bedrooms, or room to extend into a three-bedroom” with outdoor space.
Phil also added that they wanted to have a “pool and sea view”.
They also wanted it to be near the coast so they can easily access the local bars and restaurants when they have visitors to the area.
However, viewers were sceptical about the pair’s ambitious goals for the property as Jean explained that starting prices for properties in the local area usually start over £200,000.
Fans took to Twitter to give their opinion, with many calling out the couple’s search for being a ‘waste of time.’
One user said: “The hallmarks of time wasting tw*ts: Never been there, No idea what they want, Constantly changing wish list.”
Another quipped: “I have 17p to spend, but would like Villa with pool, and underbuild plus a Hotel attached for my family to stay!”
A third commented: “If your 5 kids are going to be visiting all the time get them to throw in 10k each, up your budget to £220k.
“Get a house with more space. (small print…Remember investment values may also decrease).”
“Pair of f*kin muppets,” a fourth wrote.

In the end, the pair made an offer on a 2-bedroom sea view property, which was on the market for just over £162,000.
However, the pair only offered the agent £135,000 as they claimed they would need to put in a pool, another bathroom and do work on the upstairs bedroom.
Their offer was rejected as the agent already had an offer on the property for £147,000 and the pair refused to raise their offer any higher than £137k.
Jeanette and Phil claimed they would take a second look at the property when they returned to Crete in a few weeks time.
