Britain’s Got Talent fans left fuming as they accuse show of ‘fake’ audience

Britain’s Got Talent fans are growing tired of the ITV show’s format and have called on producers for a change.

The UK’s biggest talent show is back and touring round the country but viewers are getting frustrated with one huge production element.

Fans have been complaining about the “scripted” moments from the audience and are begging ITV to cut the conversation completely.

At times during the show, the cameras cut away to random audience members who were recorded giving their thoughts on what was happening on stage.

BGT viewers took to Twitter to slam the series for the “scripted” conversations and didn’t hold back with their savage remarks.

One wrote: “Lose the audience comments.”

Another added: “What utter brain numbing fodder. Best part is miking up random audience members and letting us hear their ‘random’ comments.”

A third wrote: “Is there anything more annoying than the scripted audience comments? Why are they still doing it?”

Some viewers took things even further and joked that the audience were “being paid to cheer”.

One savage viewer even tweeted: “The amount of nitrous that must get pumped into this stadium to make the audience lose their mind at some of these acts…..”

During one act, someone also tweeted that they thought the audience were “quite obviously told to sing along”.

At the start of the show, fans were left baffled as BGT showed a segment of Ant and Dec on the Coronation Street set.

While filming auditions in Manchester earlier in the year, Ant, Dec, Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli all paid a visit to the cobbles.

The group filmed a sketch which showed them eating beans on toast in the café and visiting all the famous landmarks from the soap.

However, many viewers didn’t understand what was going on and flocked to Twitter for clarification.

One fan said that it was “great to see a bit of Corrie” but noted that it “has nothing to do with the show they were supposed to be watching”.

Another joked that they were “obsessed with the random Corrie intro,” while another simply complained and questioned “what Britain’s Got Talent was doing in Corrie”.
