Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from her family oriented weekend.
The TV favourite shared photos with her dad as they headed out to the garden to do some digging and planting as Kate shared the photos alongside a caption describing her weekend.

She wrote: “Funny how it was just grandad and I for the digging and planting and then suddenly everyone appears when up!
“Crowning a very special weekend with the Drapers, (Aunty Sue and grandma you’re here in spirit), by planting a magnolia tree for earth day. Happy Sunday everyone.”

Kate posed by the tree for the first few snaps, before moving onto the final snap as she smiled with her husband Derek Draper.
She was joined by her family who posed behind the two in the photo while Derek smiled at the camera.
As she shared the photo to Instagram, her friends and fans couldn’t help but swoon over the pair as they noticed how much healthier Derek looked.
Pal Susanna Reid wrote: “Everything about these is gorgeous,” while both Laura Tobin and Richard Bacon shared heart emojis on the photo.

Meanwhile one fan wrote: “How absolutely wonderful to see a pic of Derek, and looking so well too. Has made my weekend this post.”
Another added: “Literally a ‘wow moment’ Derek looks amazing! Absolutely priceless pic of you all, but so amazing to have you both at the forefront.”
A third person wrote: “Oh my Derek looks amazing. Is he up and about? I had no idea.”

The post comes days after it was revealed that Derek had gone back to hospital towards the end of last week, telling GMB viewers: “He’s been back in hospital this week, and I’ve thought, ‘You’ve had such an incredible amount of bad luck,’ but it’s a reminder of what incredible luck he’s had in terms of love.”
Derek has been in and out of hospital since he was first hospitalised with Covid-19 in 2020.
Kate has documented Derek’s health journey through her two documentaries, Finding Derek and Caring for Derek.
