GMB’s Laura Tobin goes glam at festival before issuing ‘catastrophic flooding’ warning

Good Morning Britain’s meteorologist Laura Tobin looked sensational as she headed to Henley-on-Thames to celebrate all things 80’s at Rewind Festival this weekend.

The 41-year-old – who often dazzles with her on-screen attire – did just that as she wowed in a two-toned blue high neck frock while smiling for selfies with a celebrity pal.

Looking unreal, she beamed happiness as she posed up a storm next to 80’s legend and radio presenter Pat Sharp at the glitzy outdoor event.

Warning her following about “catastrophic and life threatening flooding” as storm Hilary strikes Southern California after causing flash floods in Mexico which claimed the life of one person.

Laura had harrowing predictions for Storm Hilary

Airing caution, the meteorologist shared a terrifying Twitter clip of a blue truck submerged under the fast flowing water with an overview which read: “Flooding in Thousand Palms, CA, AUG. 20, 2023.”

The GMB star added her own caption on the frightful video snippet: “Tropical storm Hilary has arrived in California and tracking north.”

Along with a diagram which showcased the possible “hazardous” conditions, the ITV TV personality explained: “This is very rare. The forecast is for a catastrophic and life threatening flooding.”

The weather expert – who is now a household name – first worked for the BBC but moved to ITV’s morning show Day Break in 2012.

In 2014 the popular breakfast programme rebranded as GMB and naturally Laura continued in her role – which she is still in today – along with her on-screen family, such as Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway.
